Hello Ladies ! a lot of change has been going on lately. Pardon not posting anything for a long time. Many changes have been going on lately and one of them is Moving to Miami In a couple of weeks. Yup just like you heard. I have been planing my trip for over a year deciding weather to leave NY or Stay i decided to leave. Want to try new adventures and one of them is living on my own. 

Another change is that i open a Blog in Spanish as many as you know i am Latina and thanks to my parents i can read and write in Spanish. One night i decided  i want to write to Latina women from all over the world. 

And third is VACATION !! Finally ! i really need vacation. I will be going for two weeks to Dominican Republic where i cannot wait to soak in the water and drink Piña Coladas my favorite. And.... Since i will be traveling i decided to write a post on some of the clothing and accessories i will be taking with me. I want to travel as light as i can. Due to than once i come back i will only be in NY for 2 days and will then leave to Miami. 

I want to enjoy the fullest and relax with my family. I want to let my hair air dry and forget about straightening. I want to enjoy those two weeks and soak my feet on the warm sun touch by the sun. I want to feel airy and not worried one bit of New York and my first Semester of Grad School. 

And Guess what ladies that's what i will try my best to do. I will be packing my favorite. Shorts, cotton tee bought from stores such as H&M and Target, a nice flowy dress to dance at night, a pair of sneakers to travel comfortable, a piece a jewelry that goes with everything. The IT Sandals of the moment GLADIATOR Sandals and a one piece swimsuit which i think is so back this summer. 

I also got a large tote bag. The good thing about this bag is that is reversible. Which it equals to two bags ! great for the beach and Travel and guess what it's under $50 Dollars. I am obsessed over this leather bag. 

I will post as much as i can in Miami ! cannot wait for this new adventure but for now keep them Piña Coladas coming !

Easy, Comfortable Summer Outfit

While laying in bed recuperating from a pretty bad stomach virus over the weekend the only thing that came to my head was July. Which is almost here. 

Now i know Summer has arrived already but this stomach virus had me 4 days in bed except the day i had to rush to the emergency room because i could not tolerate my abdominal pain. Lasted a couple hours in the emergency room was diagnosed with a stomach virus no new news of course.

 I was very dehydrated. The nurse got an IV in my veins for medicine and a couple hours later i was back to my bed still dehydrated and feeling like crap. 

Two days has passed by and I am feeling much better. Finally had solid food and did not puke. I am feeling more like myself and more energized. 

Thinking of July, Inspired me on making this outfit inspiration. Summer can get pretty humid especially in this City. That is why i always opt for shorts and a cotton tee. I really like buying as much tee's as i can. They are super cheap you can find them at Target or H&M. 

I also added a pair of gladiator sandals because they are so in. I really wanted these by the brand Schutz . But they are out of my price range. I found these and my they are adorable under 50 bucks and by the brand of TopShop. Major score !

I wanted to pair this outfit with a not too big side bag. I found this one by Rebecca Minkoff and the color is just on point. 

The other accessories are the gorgeous pair of Prada Sunnies, and the new exclusive lipstick color that Estee Lauder Launched exclusive by Kendall Jenner. Is the perfect Matte Red lipstick is not too dark or bright. Is just perfect. 

With this look i suggest a high pony tail or natural waves and this Bumble and Bumble Infusion is just great. I bought it a couple months ago and it's lovely. 

And last you cannot leave your house without putting on your favorite fragrance. My friend got the beach by Bobbi Brown about a month ago and i seriously wanted to take it from her. Is a Must !

Fifty Shades Of Grey Outfit Inspiration

Happy Valentines Day !  This year is very special for me. As a super fan of Fifty Shades of Grey I have been waiting to watch the movie for a year now. After the Author E L James  announced the making of the moving i have been super excited to see the final project. Jamie Dornan is just fabulous if you have watched the series on Netflix called the Fall you will understand why he is the perfect for this Character. If you haven't what are you waiting for !!

For Valentines day I will be attending with my best friend to the movies. We have been counting the days and hours and bought our movie tickets days ago. I decided to make an outfit inspiration for the fellow Fifty Shades of Grey Fans that are also excited to see this movie.

This outfit is perfect for us girls who don't want to overdress but at the same time look well put together as you can see the outfit is dark of course grey and black. The leather leggings give it a touch of sexiness to the outfit. Everything about this outfit is super easy to find and also very easy to wear. If you are a fan of the books I hope this inspire you to rock a fun, casual , sexy outfit for tonight.

Hi Ladies I hope you gals are staying warm and cozy. These past days it has been freezing in New York City. I have so many layers that sometimes I don't even know where to start when i get home. A couple days ago while i was washing my hands  i notice  that some of my fingers were cracked and dry i literally said o no i need extra hand cream. It's my fault due to that I thought i had lost my gloves and was in denial of buying a pair. Thank God i found them. It's the pair i have in this inspiration you can find them at Target. 

I feel like Winter is all about the Puffer coat that will protect you of anything.  I decided to make this inspiration post well because basically this is all i am wearing everyday. Literally ! Thank God for UGGS !  I usually wear thermal leggings everyday and if i wear jeans or dressy pants i make sure to have my leggings under. This outfit will keep you warm and protected in this very cold winter. 

I almost forgot to mention the Patagonia winter Jacket. It is one of my favorite accessories on this inspiration. I remember my parents gave me this jacket when i was a Junior in High School and still till this day it is one of my favorite pieces i always enjoy using it and it its very cozy and warm. This is a must especially if you are in college running around the Campus trying to get from one place to the other.

Remember ladies to always wear your warm socks and gloves ! you don't want to get extra dry skin.

Fall 2014 Must Haves

I AM BACK !!!!! Yes i know it's been a while from the last time i post something on my blog. But as you may know i was on vacation to the Caribbean where i spent over a month stress free. Relaxing and living the life literally would not do anything in the day. Just relax. But I am glad to be back to my city and happy that Fall is almost here. Which that means that I have to start pulling out all of my favorite pieces for the fall. 

This Fall i am being more risky with my makeup and outfits. On this post i have added things which at the moment i am crushing from my favorite drink of the fall the famous PSL
 ( Pumpkin Spice Latte) from Starbucks,  The new collection of Altuzarra for Target and the Givenchy Leather Tote which is screaming BUY ME. 

Another piece that I am crushing is the burgundy Motorcycle jacket it is a statement piece it looks great with every outfit plus it is very Chic and it makes me feel COOL ! the other pieces are great accessories that every girl must have for the fall. Before i forget don't forget to have your room smelling all Autumn. Every year  I buy a couple of my favorite candles for the fall at Bath and Body works they make me feel warm inside plus they smell amazing.

Parisian outfit inspo

Hi Ya'll i hope everyone had a great weekend. Here in NYC we have high degrees and  also tons of unexpected showers. My allergies have been attacking me and i am also in the mist of moving. Which if you have moved before you know how stressful it is. That is why i decided to make this outfit inspiration. I am dreaming of Paris. I imagine wearing this outfit and walking down the most famous streets and little shops of Paris France. I mean why not dream. 

This outfit is casual, airy, feminine, clean and fun. The color of the dress id just perfect. It the perfect sky blue. I added a touch of pink with the fun scarf that screams Spring. The Cable knit Sweater Outfit

If i would have to use one sweater through out fall and winter it would be the cable knit sweater. I love how cozy and warm I feel when I wear mine. I only have one cable knit sweater I remember i got it a couple years ago as a Christmas gift. since then it has been my go to sweater. This kind of sweater is perfect for everyday you can use it for work and also on a fall casual day. It also comes with me on any weekend getaway because i know i will use it and make use of it a lot.

 I have here  an outfit inspiration. This outfit is perfect I love the color combination with the camel jeans and of course the light cream cable knit sweater . To add a bit of color i added the burgundy hat which is a fall statement for this fall. I also added the famous tortoise shell necklace It compliments the whole outfit and makes it look well put together.

 If you don't have a cable knit sweater i suggest investing in one it will last you a long time and i am sure is going to be your go to sweater.

Two Outfits, One Pair of Denims !

Hi Y'all Happy Monday ! I am back with another fun outfit. A couple weeks ago I did a day to night outfit and this time I wanted to do a super easy outfit with one of my favorite clothing pieces. I have said million of times that I love to buy clothing pieces that are versatile and also that I can dress it up or down. Well JEANS are the perfect example of the best clothing piece someone can have in their closet. I don't own many pairs of denims but I do have a couple that I love.  So here i have two outfits and ONE pair of destroyed  light denim pair. I love how Chic meets a bit of toughness. It makes the whole outfit look super effortless.

The first Outfit on the left I have added a jeweled sweater a pair of black oxfords and a color plum bag. I think the color coordinate perfectly and the color plum is just great for this fall. I think this outfit is great if you work at a casual environment or just to meet with your love ones for lunch. It's simple, a bit masculine and girly with the little sparkles on the sweater. 

When I was putting together the second outfit I thought of it as a casual everyday outfit with a sporty touch. I love how these retro sneakers are back. I mean these sneakers are making the perfect come back and they are cute and fun. these go great with many outfits. This outfit that I put together is super easy and plus I think all the pieces are a must for the Fall. I have included the famous plaid shirt and the perfect vest for chilly days.

If you are looking for the perfect everyday pair of jeans. These are great. they have a bit of slouchiness and the distress is just perfect.

Fall Jackets Must Haves

J Crew jacket / Madewell jacket / Karl Donoghue vest / AllSaints jacket / black tweed jacket

Now that fall is finally here I definitely feel the sweater weather or better say jacket weather. It has been a bit chilly lately i have to admit that I already wore my military jacket because it was a bit chilly and really who doesn't like a stylish jacket.

What I love about jackets and vest is that not only are they a must for this fall, but that jackets compliment in a way or other your outfit.  I have included some of my favorite jackets at the moment. I only included 5 because I think these are the ones every lady should have hanging in her closet.

The tweed jacket i think is great for dinner or even corporate work wear. And to tell you the truth it reminds me of Chanel. And who doesn't want to wear a jacket that reminds you of Chanel is the epitome of a classy lady. Another of my favorite is the J.Crew quilted jacket I think is preppy, classy and I think it goes great with any outfit. It's great for day and night.
So..... If you are on a jacket hunt I think these would be perfect for this fall.

Fall Outfit Inspiration

 Fall is finally here in it's honor I did this outfit inspiration. This outfit is perfect for the fall. One of the first things that is a fall statement is not really a clothing item but Starbucks goes with every outfit and you know is fall when Starbucks brings back their pumpkin lattes, which I try not to drink multiple times a day because I am a bit addicted.

Every girl should own a pair of Corduroy pants. They are great for the fall plus they are pretty cozy. I love how you can pair it up with any kind of shoes. I ordered a pair from Gap and I can't wait until they arrive. I love sweaters. But I love them even more when they have a classic look. I am drooling over this J.Crew Sweater. What I love about it is the two leather pockets in the front. It is stylish, fashionable and warm. 

Another must for the fall are a pair of Booties. They are great to pair them with dresses, leggings, denims and cords. Plus I love the way they look on your feet and again super comfortable.  

And the last piece is a statement bag. I recently purchased this Phillip Lim for Target Pashli tote, which I am obsessed with, I can't put it down everywhere I go I carry it with me. It will be my fall bag. But If you cannot find it at your nearest target this Tote from Madewell it the perfect leather bag for the fall.

The Good thing about this outfit is that is versatile and you can switch it up with different clothing items. Enjoy this fall!

My Fall Wish List

Hello Ladies can you believe fall is around the corner. And to tell you the truth I am happy. I was never a big fan of Fall and I don't know why. I guess  while I was in school I always thought that summer was better because I could see my family and travel more often. But now I am obsessed with Fall. And it all starts with the way I dress. No more hot summer days and no more bright clothing or nail polish. 

I already started washing all of my cardigans and scarfs that were hiding in my closet. But a little shopping won't hurt right ? This is my fall wish list. These are all my necessities in order to survive this fall. A good pair of riding boots and the perfect dark lipstick oh and I love the Bath and body works candles.  Another thing that I love about fall is New york Fashion week ! Super excited to see the new collections of my favorite designers.

Simple and Summery

I am a girly girl and love to put on some heels and a fun dresses  but for most of the time in the summer I love to rock my denim shorts and a simple tee. I went on a mini weekend getaway with my best friend and the first thing I packed was my favorite denim shorts from JCrew. I think you can dress them up or down. 

As I said before I am all about being comfortable and especially in this summer weather.  This is my favorite summer outfit it's comfortable, easy going and casual for the city. Especially those flip flips their an upgrade of your everyday flip flops.

Their is one thing here that is driving me nuts and it is the bag. I have recently seen a lot of girls in the city with this bag. It its simply gorgeous i have seen it on Olivia Palermo I just think is a must have. I was looking for it and it was sold out every where but I finally found it. Can't wait until it arrives.

Hello Girlie's This week I am back with an Inspiration outfit. This outfit screams out  PORTOFINO Italy !!!!  Imagine sitting near the bay on a beautiful sunny day with this simple yet gorgeous flowery dress and your wavy hair moving with the breeze. I can see myself wearing this outfit. It is beautiful and great for a casual lunch or for simple dinner by the water. Relaxed Spring Day In NYC

Hello Girlies I hope everyone had a great Memorial Weekend. My weekend consisted of yummy pancakes from Clinton St Bakery and days with a lot of laughter and shopping (making damage).  This week is more relaxed and finally is not raining

 So i decided to go with my friends to the Met Museum and have lunch at Central park. I just love laying a Turkish towel on the grass and sit down chat and  wonder around. Of course with a super relaxed outfit. This is my inspiration, this is how I am feeling right now with a twist of elegance. Memorial Day Weekend Getaway...

I don't know about you ladies but I love weekend Getaways especially Holiday weekend getaways like the one that is coming up. Memorial day usually the three day weekend because everyone is off work. I remember being a little girl and my parents driving with my aunts and uncles and cousins to outside the city to upstate New York to the lake or to Nantucket or Cape Cop. I loved it. 

I remember my mom putting so much sunscreen on that i looked so white. This Memorial weekend I am staying home although I will be dreaming of being in a sandy beach. But I will have cousins over and I am sure I will have as much fun as I i was on the road. I decided to do a board inspired one of my trips and also to inspire you gals if any is leaving the city and going on a getaway with family and friends and of course i couldn't forget the Sunscreen. 
As my mom always says is better sunscreen than being all itchy and burn. Have Fun !!

New Shoes + A Couple of goodies from Sephora

 Hello girls this weekend I went on a hunt for my Graduation shoes, How exiting.  Although I couldn't find the pair I wanted. Instead I went to Madewell to check out their sale.  I got these leopard print flats. I am In love with them and they are so comfortable which i am always scared because I always get blisters due to uncomfortable shoes. I also got them for a great deal only for 70 dollars comparing to the original price 118 I think I got a steal. What you girls think ?  I think they would be great to rock them this summer with a pair of white boyfriend jeans and nice tee.

 

 

I also got a couple of new products at Sephora.

Dr.Jart+ purifying mask, small coco butter Vaseline, Sephora eye mask, First aid Cream and Josie Maran wipes BTW my new favorite wipes they don't irritate my skin and takes off all of my makeup quickly. This is my first time buying a product from the brand of Dr.Jart+ I haven't used the mask yet hopefully it will be amazing, If anyone have tried more of his products please feel free to leave a comment I have heard good stuff about it.

Sunny Weekend Style

 

 I am so happy that this weekend has been sunny and in the fifty degrees. We had a couple inches of snow this past week in NYC but it cleared up by Friday night. I feel like Spring is around the corner well I hope. This set is inspired by the weekend as I said before it has been a bit chilly but not that cold so why not take out your weekend jacket out for a trip. A typical weekend outfit for me on a nice sunny day would be a pair of boyfriend jeans, comfy sneakers like the Supergas and a light army jacket. Although I am a girl that loves to wear big bags, once in a while I prefer a cross body bag like this Coach one isn't it adorable. I think it's easier if your going to the farmers market or even have a casual lunch date with your significant other or even on a shopping spree. It's Comfortable, relaxing and is fashionable outfit but at the same time careless. Enjoy your weekend  !
