Hi Ladies I know it's been so long. I apologize but grad school work had me super busy. I really missed blogging but now that vacation is coming up i will have more time to blog. I am so happy tomorrow i will be will be in NYC  with my family for Thanksgiving ! 

I am just so happy to be heading to New York For a couple of days. Have been missing home so much and my family. It's been so long since i have made an outfit inspiration that i decided to do one for Thanksgiving. 

Thanksgiving for me is all about spending time with my family and eating our traditional supper. I love to dress up for thanksgiving and look my best my family and i take so many pictures that i don't want to go back years later and say yikes i just looked terrible. 

I have prepared for us ladies this simple, girly outfit it's great if you are living in a place where it's cold weather such as New York. I am actually missing fall in NY. Miami is gorgeous but definitely not the same. 

This outfit is all about comfort, and also very clean. It's not over powering. the Sweater is gorgeous it already has enough bling i don't think you will need more other than a pair of simple earrings such as these. I had to add the cranberry lipstick and simple eyeliner it's all about bold lips and simple outfit. These boots are so sexy they are definitely a must for this fall and Winter.

My Traveling Must Haves

Hello Ladies ! a lot of change has been going on lately. Pardon not posting anything for a long time. Many changes have been going on lately and one of them is Moving to Miami In a couple of weeks. Yup just like you heard. I have been planing my trip for over a year deciding weather to leave NY or Stay i decided to leave. Want to try new adventures and one of them is living on my own. 

Another change is that i open a Blog in Spanish as many as you know i am Latina and thanks to my parents i can read and write in Spanish. One night i decided  i want to write to Latina women from all over the world. 

And third is VACATION !! Finally ! i really need vacation. I will be going for two weeks to Dominican Republic where i cannot wait to soak in the water and drink Piña Coladas my favorite. And.... Since i will be traveling i decided to write a post on some of the clothing and accessories i will be taking with me. I want to travel as light as i can. Due to than once i come back i will only be in NY for 2 days and will then leave to Miami. 

I want to enjoy the fullest and relax with my family. I want to let my hair air dry and forget about straightening. I want to enjoy those two weeks and soak my feet on the warm sun touch by the sun. I want to feel airy and not worried one bit of New York and my first Semester of Grad School. 

And Guess what ladies that's what i will try my best to do. I will be packing my favorite. Shorts, cotton tee bought from stores such as H&M and Target, a nice flowy dress to dance at night, a pair of sneakers to travel comfortable, a piece a jewelry that goes with everything. The IT Sandals of the moment GLADIATOR Sandals and a one piece swimsuit which i think is so back this summer. 

I also got a large tote bag. The good thing about this bag is that is reversible. Which it equals to two bags ! great for the beach and Travel and guess what it's under $50 Dollars. I am obsessed over this leather bag. 

I will post as much as i can in Miami ! cannot wait for this new adventure but for now keep them Piña Coladas coming !

Spring Outfit Inspiration

Spring is back which means it's time to pull out those white jeans from your closet. I have to admit my weekend was full of Fun. Went to a family Hawaiian theme party. Natural Curly hair was out, flower on my hair, Lei Garland on neck and Oh before i forget  my all time favorite White Denims. I just had to wear them. White Jeans are everything seriously they go with any top and you can dress them up or down. 

I said to myself let me give the ladies an outfit inspiration, nothing too hard and nothing over whelming. These white pants are a bit distress which it gives it a casual look. Had to add the nude Mules and the Green army jacket. This Outfit screams Spring. Is fun, cute, girly, effortless and simple. 

What more can you ask for?. I added a bright nail polish, lipstick and only a pair of small earrings. I didn't want the jewelry to opaque the entire outfit. 

Sooo What are you waiting for hop on the White Denims bandwagon.

Winter Essentials....

Hi Ladies I hope you gals are staying warm and cozy. These past days it has been freezing in New York City. I have so many layers that sometimes I don't even know where to start when i get home. A couple days ago while i was washing my hands  i notice  that some of my fingers were cracked and dry i literally said o no i need extra hand cream. It's my fault due to that I thought i had lost my gloves and was in denial of buying a pair. Thank God i found them. It's the pair i have in this inspiration you can find them at Target. 

I feel like Winter is all about the Puffer coat that will protect you of anything.  I decided to make this inspiration post well because basically this is all i am wearing everyday. Literally ! Thank God for UGGS !  I usually wear thermal leggings everyday and if i wear jeans or dressy pants i make sure to have my leggings under. This outfit will keep you warm and protected in this very cold winter. 

I almost forgot to mention the Patagonia winter Jacket. It is one of my favorite accessories on this inspiration. I remember my parents gave me this jacket when i was a Junior in High School and still till this day it is one of my favorite pieces i always enjoy using it and it its very cozy and warm. This is a must especially if you are in college running around the Campus trying to get from one place to the other.

Remember ladies to always wear your warm socks and gloves ! you don't want to get extra dry skin.

Hi Ladies ! Merry Christmas ! Christmas was great full of yummy food, red lipsticks and gifts. I didn't get all i wanted but....  I am blessed and thankful with what i got.  New years is almost here and my family is still visiting. It has been cold but also super sunny lately. I have been enjoying going to places with my cousins. 

You gals know i practically live in Boyfriend Jeans.  I really do ! that's why i did this outfit inspiration on what i would wear while hanging out in the city. It is casual, with a touch of glam. Its also comfortable and cozy. The sneakers and long coat are just perfect and adorable. To add a pop of a color i added this beautiful Celine bag.

Christmas Wish List

Hi Y'all Happy Saturday !  As I mention on my last post last week that weekly i would post a new gift guide for your friends and family. the only thing is that i forgot to include myself. So.... said to myself let me update people on my life and on my current cravings. I finally made my Christmas Wishlist on  all that  i want or maybe someone can possibly gift me these items.

I hope my family and friends are reading this blog post. HI MOM ! The first item that i really want are the pair of nude sandals design by Stuart Weitzman. I have been craving these shoes for the longest. All the celebrities rock them at the red carpet even. These are a statement piece, Every girl should have in her closet. Including me. 

Another must have on my list is the Erin Condren life planner. I have a very busy schedule. I think this planner will help me organize my life. Plus it is wonderful.  I have read great reviews. 

The other Items i also would like to get so dear Santa come visit my home i have been a good girl !

Lazy Weekend Outfit

Hi Friends ! First of all i want to apologize for not posting anything for the past week in a half. I have been working non stop. Currently i have three jobs and in a couple of weeks I'll have four. Not that  I am complaining but as you may know it is a bit stressful running around trying to get to all jobs in different days of the week. I am so happy I don't have to work this Sunday this means over sleeping and no Makeup ! that Is why i have created a two outfits for us ladies who on the weekends don't want to over do it. 

The first Outfit on the left would definitely be my go to outfit on the weekend. especially after running around the city and taking the subway at all kind of time and days all i want is comfortable pair of leggings and an over sized hoodie sweater and comfy sneakers. 

The second outfit is more put together. Perfect if you want to look nice and fashionable but don't want to over do it. I have added all basic pieces that perfect for the everyday life. I have also added a Mansur Gavriel tote bag. IS definitely going to be on my Christmas Wish list  I just want it !  is simple, classy and Perfect.

Hello November !

 November has finally arrived. I feel like October was the longest month ever ! November is going to be super fun and busy full of Family and tons of work. That means more relaxing outfits. Over the weekend I got inspired to make this comfortable outfit. Fall is great to rock your trench coat. It is divine and basically you can dress it up or down.   As most of you know i am all about Comfort and Classy. 

This outfit is perfect for Brunch, a weekend walking around in the city or a movie night. It is also great to take with you while traveling. I added neutral tones and as you can see very comfortable shoes. These are the most comfortable shoes to walk around or if you have to stand for long period of time these are the famous TOD'S Loafers.  You can rock this outfit day and night. I hope it inspires you and it gives you a sense of how to use a trench coat on a regular basis during the Fall.

Autumn Work Wear Inspiration

Fall is officially here which that means bright colors are out and fall colors are in.  Leaves are falling, pumpkin pies are in the oven and one of my favorite fruits are in season, APPLES wardrobe has to be full of army green, burgundy, and neutral fun tones. I mean people usually love to wear black and white to work. why not spice it up this Autumn and wear different type of prints and colors that will compliment this season. 

This outfit inspiration that i made is perfect for office attire. You have the button down shirt, the nude pumps, blazer and an amazing bag that fits your planner. I decided to spice it up with this amazing pencil skirt it is just beautiful. J.Crew did great this season as always. I added the basic white collar shirt and the typical fitted blazer that can also work as an everyday jacket. 

To spice up the outfit a bit more i added a burgundy bag. Which BTW I have a major crush on. for the makeup and accessories i left it very neutral again you are going to work not to a fair. But.... If you have a job in that permits you to dress more "fun why not add an extra layer of this dark burgundy color.

Summer Night Out In Town Outfit

 While scrolling my way down Net-A- Porter website over the weekend i found the most beautiful metallic Esq shimmery mid length pleated skirt. My breath literally stopped and quickly i had to click on it. Unfortunately the price woke me up from having it in my closet. But isn't it the most Beautiful piece of clothing i have seen in a long time. 

Dreaming Of Portofino Italy

Now that I am finally settled in my new apartment. I feel like is time to go on a vacation. Vacation i missed that word so much. Maybe not the word but the meaning of it. Vacation means to me disconnected of the world no Internet, phone, or emails. Sipping on a mimosa, relaxing, eating great food, and discovering new places. Currently I dream of Portofino Italy. 

Just in case you didn't know where Portofino is located it is a village located on the Italian riviera it has FOUR beaches. I have been dreaming of visiting Italy since i was in college and after reading the book Eat Pray Love which if you haven't read it i suggest you do. It has been a while without posting something on the blog due to the over whelm of my new apartment. 

Gosh it is so stressful to unpack and decor a new place so many decisions to make. But now i am settled and ready to relax. Well at least. I wish. I still have a couple of months before i go on vacation but mean while i will keep dreaming of Italy and it's amazing food and culture. To all the ladies that are traveling this summer this inspiration post is for you. It includes all of my favorite and must haves for your trip.

Hi Ya'll i hope everyone had a great weekend. Here in NYC we have high degrees and  also tons of unexpected showers. My allergies have been attacking me and i am also in the mist of moving. Which if you have moved before you know how stressful it is. That is why i decided to make this outfit inspiration. I am dreaming of Paris. I imagine wearing this outfit and walking down the most famous streets and little shops of Paris France. I mean why not dream. 

This outfit is casual, airy, feminine, clean and fun. The color of the dress id just perfect. It the perfect sky blue. I added a touch of pink with the fun scarf that screams Spring. Mothers Day Gifts Ideas

May is Finally here that means that Mothers day is right around the corner. In my home we celebrate Mothers Day twice. The American and Dominican Mothers day. American is at the beginning of May and Dominican is the Last Sunday of the month. I usually divide the gifts that i give my mom. Either one day i just take her out for brunch and the other i give her flowers and a nice present.

 Here i have different ideas of different gifts you can give your mom or grandmother on Mothers Day. I have a variety of options which you can choose. These are my top 9 gifts. Remember to never forget the card. I usually write a hand letter to my mom which she values a lot due that today most people send emails and texts and forget about hand writing a letter.  I am still old school. Plus my mom knows the hard work and dedication i put to the letter i even decorate it using color pencils just like the old days when i was in elementary school.

 I hope these gifts can give you a clue of what you want to give to your loved one. Never forget to say I LOVE YOU to your mom even if you live far from her call her and let her know. Remember everyday is mothers day. They sacrifice their lives to help us become the great person we are today. Their is no gift that i can give my mom other than loving, respecting and cherishing her. Sky Blue Is In For Spring !

Their is always one color in Spring that stands out. Each Spring a color is making people go crazy for it. This sky blue color is screaming SPRING and is making drool. Literally. Every store i go in i have to see something of this color.  This color is perfect for Spring and Summer  it is light the color is beautiful and it goes with many pieces. Even nail polish companies are coming out with this color. 

I decided to make an inspiration board on all of my favorite pieces that are in this color. From makeup to my favorite flowers in the entire world hydrangeas. If you want to be part of this trend go on and try one of these pieces. Spring Finally Arrived !

Spring Is here ! Today is the first day of Spring. I am so excited, although i do enjoy the Winter and its nice snowy days full of Hot coco and warm fuzzy socks i am so over it. I want my mani and pedi weekends with my friends and i am so ready to let my toes breath some fresh air. I love my Bean boots but their comes a point where you want to stop wearing them. So hasta luego my dear Winter.

I predict that this Spring is going to be full of different tones of the color blue. Have you notice all the sunglasses with the blue shades they are so in. In honor of first day of Spring i decided to make an inspirational outfit. I know i had a long time of not sharing one with you. This outfit is perfect for the girl that enjoys Spring, loves to dress classic traditional but spices up the outfit with a mega cool bag such as this mini phillip lim or the JCrew grey tone  heel sandals. These are perfect for the girl that cant wait to show her toes this Spring and of course she is a mega fashionista yet has her own style.

I really love this outfit i think this light blue is beautiful and a great introduction to Spring all pieces compliment each other none of them over power any item. Lets talk about the Tory Burch Sunnies they are so hot, love the two colors. These are a must !

Lets see how New York City takes Spring this 2014. Although today is the first day. I want to see fresh flowers blooming at my moms balcony and the smell of fresh produce at the Union Square market every saturday morning. Soon i will be posting my Spring musthaves. Stay Tune

Navy Blue Skirt Outfit

I don't know if i have told you that my favorite colors are pink, navy blue and grey.  I am obsessed with these colors and I think they make a great combination. Plus I believe that blue is an universal color. While roaming around J Crew I found cute pieces and a pair of pumps that would be great for the spring or even now in the winter.

I just had to do an inspiration outfit. I love the skirt is so lady like and with the sweatshirt and pink necklace it will make the skirt a bold statement and it give it a touch of fun. I added a messenger bag which can also be use as handheld. I wanted to concentrate on the the shoes and outfit, because those are the key pieces.

On the makeup i went subtle rosy lips and cheeks with nude nails. very classy and lady like as i said before. This outfit is great for work, dinner, and even church. I love skirts i usually don't wear them that much in the winter but when summer and spring comes around i tend to use skirts a couple times a week. I think this would be great with or without tights.

Work Outfit

Pardon my absence on the blog. These past weeks i have been busy attending job interviews and also taking extensive workout classes. I guess two of my main goals for this new year are working so far. If you follow me on Instagram  you will know what i am talking about. 

While attending different interviews with news stations. I have noticed that i have fallen in the trap of the typical suit or black and white and grey pants for interviews. I want to be formal but not plain. I have decided to go shopping for interview clothing. I have checked my favorite stores and i came up with this outfit. It's a pair of print pants, a white tailored shirt and a fun blazer. The bright lipstick i added it for when i get the job. I will go with a nude lipstick and not with a bright color. 

I have also added a couple of accessories such as these fun pumps, the beautiful pair of earrings from Kate Spade and the minimalistic neutral bag. this outfit screams my name is cute, well put together, fashionable yet great for your everyday job or interview. I am accepting advice on job interview attire. What would be your statement piece for a job interview?

Leather + Sneakers = Comfort Chic

2014 is Here ! I hope everyone had an amazing New Year celebration. I hope you all reach your new goals. One if mine is to own a pair of leather pants. Yep I said it right. God they are so sexy ! I simply cannot find a pair where i can say that it's it i don't have to search for a new pair leather pants. 

I just love the look of leather jeans and simple sneakers like that Nike that i have. You might say WHAT sneakers as part of a outfit that has leather pants. well that's the fun of fashion that you can play around with items that you will never imagine. 

This outfit is mainly all black with touch of grey and plaid. It's perfect for the winter of 2014. This outfit is perfect for the gal that is always wants to be comfortable with her clothing but also daring by wearing leather pants.

Winter Coat Pairings

Excuse My absence lately on the blog. Literally it's crunch time. By the time i get home from work i am drained. Also the weather has not been a great help lately. It has been snowing on and off. This week so far has been of so many emotions. 

It was my birthday yesterday on the 17th, got a mini surprise dinner from my family after i got home from work. But the routine still goes on. Can't wait until Friday where i am officially on vacation. And since it looks like it's going to get colder each day I decided to do a winter coat pairing inspiration. In my opinion i think these are the best shoes that match each coat. Of course i also match my puffer with bean boots but it's all about playing with different pieces.
