Winter Essentials....

winter gear

Hi Ladies I hope you gals are staying warm and cozy. These past days it has been freezing in New York City. I have so many layers that sometimes I don't even know where to start when i get home. A couple days ago while i was washing my hands  i notice  that some of my fingers were cracked and dry i literally said o no i need extra hand cream. It's my fault due to that I thought i had lost my gloves and was in denial of buying a pair. Thank God i found them. It's the pair i have in this inspiration you can find them at Target.

I feel like Winter is all about the Puffer coat that will protect you of anything.  I decided to make this inspiration post well because basically this is all i am wearing everyday. Literally ! Thank God for UGGS !  I usually wear thermal leggings everyday and if i wear jeans or dressy pants i make sure to have my leggings under. This outfit will keep you warm and protected in this very cold winter.

I almost forgot to mention the Patagonia winter Jacket. It is one of my favorite accessories on this inspiration. I remember my parents gave me this jacket when i was a Junior in High School and still till this day it is one of my favorite pieces i always enjoy using it and it its very cozy and warm. This is a must especially if you are in college running around the Campus trying to get from one place to the other.

Remember ladies to always wear your warm socks and gloves ! you don't want to get extra dry skin.

XOXO

Winter Coat Pairings

Untitled #539

Excuse My absence lately on the blog. Literally it's crunch time. By the time i get home from work i am drained. Also the weather has not been a great help lately. It has been snowing on and off. This week so far has been of so many emotions.

It was my birthday yesterday on the 17th, got a mini surprise dinner from my family after i got home from work. But the routine still goes on. Can't wait until Friday where i am officially on vacation. And since it looks like it's going to get colder each day I decided to do a winter coat pairing inspiration. In my opinion i think these are the best shoes that match each coat. Of course i also match my puffer with bean boots but it's all about playing with different pieces.

I hope you like it and again if i am not connected everyday on the blog you can follow me on my instagram and see what i am up to.

Weekend Outfit Inspiration

weekend outfit

Hi Ladies I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Here in NYC has been a bit raining and surprisingly not that cold. New York is a beautiful city but also very hectic. People are running around trying to catch the subway or a yellow cab. The city never sleeps.  Literally ! That is why on the weekends I love to rest  and go out to my favorite cafe on the west village and have my favorite latte. Sometimes living in a big city like New York I tend to forget I have to take more time for myself and just chill. This inspiration outfit is perfect for the weekend. I love to grab an easy outfit and take the camera with me because you never know what you will find.

What do you like to do on the weekends?

The Cable knit Sweater Outfit

Untitled #527

sweater / jeans booties tote jewelry hat

If i would have to use one sweater through out fall and winter it would be the cable knit sweater. I love how cozy and warm I feel when I wear mine. I only have one cable knit sweater I remember i got it a couple years ago as a Christmas gift. since then it has been my go to sweater. This kind of sweater is perfect for everyday you can use it for work and also on a fall casual day. It also comes with me on any weekend getaway because i know i will use it and make use of it a lot.

I have here  an outfit inspiration. This outfit is perfect I love the color combination with the camel jeans and of course the light cream cable knit sweater . To add a bit of color i added the burgundy hat which is a fall statement for this fall. I also added the famous tortoise shell necklace It compliments the whole outfit and makes it look well put together.

If you don't have a cable knit sweater i suggest investing in one it will last you a long time and i am sure is going to be your go to sweater.

Fall Home Decor

I don't know about you but i love to decor my house for each season . I won't say that I do a complete makeover but I do add a little something to the apartment. either some fun pillows for the living room or I get together with my friend and paint fun pumpkins. I also love to buy scent candles in the fall that have a touch of Autumn. If you are lacking some Fall decor inspiration I have added these images that i found at Pinterest. The best place on earth to find decor inspiration.

Dining Rooms And It's Fascination

Growing up  my mom was and is  obsessed with our Dining Room. It was the highlight of our home. I actually think that is how my fascination for interior design started. I would go with my mom shopping and we would always end up in the kitchen and dining room department. As an only child my parents wanted me to grow up in a cozy home so My mom made sure that when my dad would come home from work we would all have dinner in the dining room. She just loved and still loves to cook for other people and make everyone feel comfortable and cozy and that was exactly how my dining room felt. We are both a fanatic of home decor I mean we can spend hours just walking around interior design stores. I found these great Inspirational pictures of gorgeous Dining Rooms I decided to share it with you gals. I hope you enjoy them as much as I. I don't have a favorite they are all gorgeous. Wish i can move in to any of these homes. What was your favorite room in your home growing up?

My Weekend Style

style

Sweater, Boots, Earrings, sunglasses, tote bag

As I had mention before I am super busy this semester due to the fact that it is my last semester in college.  I am taking six courses, I also have an internship at a news station and a part time job. I have my hands full. The only day that I am free is on Sunday's. I usually like to sleep late and just wear a very relaxing and simple outfit. I am all about Ugg boots and a cable knit sweater in the winter. I think they are great for cold winter days in NYC which are perfect if I am going to the movie theater with my best friend or grab some coffee at my nearest Starbucks. I love Ugg boots because they are warm comfortable and basically go with anything, they are not the cutest but they do their job to keep my feet warm. What is your typical weekend outfit? is it relaxing or fun and colorful.
