Favorite Beauty Products Of The Moment

Untitled #575

Lately It has been feeling more like Summer than Spring. It has been super sunny and hot. The past two weeks have been super stressful due to  studying intensely for my Grad school Exam. I took the exam this Saturday i hope everything goes well. Now i can finally calm and pamper my skin. I have combinations skin but this winter left my skin very bad with a couple dry patches and dryness. On some days i would only used my every day cleanser Cetaphil and moisturizer with SPF and maybe when i had chance a mask.

My plan for the next couple of weeks is to go back to my everyday routine. Sunday was all about relaxing and my skin. Not only face but all over. But since this post is only about face products i will try to keep it as short as i can.

Due to my highly sensitive skin I have adapted my skin to a regimen where i don't use too many products especially products that i know won't irritate my skin. On this post you are going to see everything except an under eye cream. Just bought a new eye cream and want to try it for a week or so before i share with you my thoughts.

I started using not long ago Clinique moisturizing gel due to that one of the girls from Sephora told me that gel penetrates to your skin while the lotion stays in the surface. I really love how the moisturizer glides softly around my face.

Another favorite product of mine is the Origins Charcoal Mask. This mask is amazing not only are my pores less visible after i apply this on my skin but i feel my face brighter. It doesn't leave my surface oily and it's full of goodness. It has been one of the best investment.

And my last favorite product is Coconut oil the holy grail !!! I mean DUH is COCONUT OIL . Have been using it for years. I can go on with a list of how i apply it or use it but this time i will give you an easy recipe. You will need 1/2 cup of coconut oil and 1/4 of a cup of Brown Sugar I buy organic.

Take your stand mixer and mix it for 5 minutes. It will be the softest scrub on earth. I apply it once a week to my face and lips. I try to get all that dead skin from my face and boy does it work. It makes my face feel brand new i am telling you ladies is a must. You can also apply this all over your body before bathing.

Favorite Skin Care Products

Everyday body products

Its been a while since i have talked about my everyday body products. I decided to share with you today my everyday products from toothpaste to baby oil yep you heard it. I change some of my products from time to time but these are the products that i keep buying every month and have learn to love them.

I usually use a body scrub once a week. I started using a tree hut body scrub about 3 years ago. I saw it at Ulta loved the price and the quality of it. It smells yummy and leaves my skin renewed. The other product i have used for the longest is the Neutrogena Rainbath body wash, its simply one of my favorite. It is a great soap for a bubble bath and i even use it when i shave my legs. It leaves my skin super soft.

After I take a bath i usually like to use a body oil. I use to think that body oils would leave my body oily and i refuse to use any kind of oil until i started using Almond oil which my mom kept recommending and this Burts Bees Mama Bee body oil. I usually use it right after my bath when my skin is still damp. It is great to moisturize your skin and if you have stretch marks you can take a cotton ball and add some oil to it and apply it directly to your stretch marks. After a couple of weeks you will start seeing a change trust me. A

The other products are my regular day to day favorites such as my Hemp body moisturizer a burts bees foot cream my favorite one is the one that has coconut. It smells great and it leaves my foot soft as a baby. A new product that i bought new this month has been the Arm and Hammer advance white toothpaste and the listerine whitening restoring mouth wash. As an avid coffee and tea drinker my teeth are not the whitest. I decided to try these products. I am literally loving this combination. Even my mom said that my teeth are a bit brighter not that they are too stained but it helps me with my everyday. So what are your favorite products. Also, do you use any of these products if you do leave a comment.

New Favorite Drugstore Products

Happy Friday  ladies ! I wanted to share with you gals my new drugstore products that I have been loving lately. I ordered these online and i simply couldn't wait until they arrived to try them. I got them a two weeks ago and since them i have been using them non stop.

I am very picky with the products i purchase especially if its for my face. Due to having super sensitive skin. I decided to give it a try to the new Cetaphil Cleansing Cloths. I use Cetaphil products for my face and body and thought these would be great for removing my makeup or after the gym.

I am in total awe about these wipes. They are soft, don't leave any residue,  it doesn't irritate my skin and is orderless. This products it is just like the cleansers it cleans your face and it leaves it soft.  The other products that i have been very hype about have been the Mabelline Baby skin pore eraser primer. I am a sucker for packaging . I already have the baby lip product and i love it . I said to myself why not try these. At the beggining i was a bit skeptocal due to that i have sensitive combination skin and this product was  clear, oily and it looked like gel. I applied it near my cheeks where my pores are visible i can say i like it is okay i don't think i will be repurchasing the product due to that i dont like the consistency of it. A product that i am happy that i purchase is the St Ives oatmeal scrub + mask. Is great i love it. I use it about 3 times per week especially after my workout.

It leaves my face clean, without any residue and is great also for those days when you wake up and feel like your skin is acting up or is simply too oily. The other products i purchase were the L'Oreal  true  match concelear is great and very similar to my mac pro one and a color balm. I always carry It on my bag it moisturizes your lips smell great and it gives you that extra touch of glam.

So what are your favorite drugstore products? Have a nice weekend !

My Face and Body Winter Beauty Routine

Are you the kind of gal that changes your skin products according to different seasons? I do. In the summer i tend to want to have a healthy glowing looking skin and makeup and in the fall and winter I want my skin to be as healthy and hydrated as it can be.

Through out the summer I was battling with oily skin. I always had combination skin but this summer due to humidity and some products i was using my face was producing excess oil. My dermatologist said that I  have super sensitive skin and that I needed to buy products that were fragrance free for my face.
So that's what i did. Now that winter is finally here, I decided to change a bit my beauty regimen and try products that will help my skin stay moisturize during the winter. So here they are.

I am so happy with these products that I had to share with you ladies my face and skin regimen.
I have 3 steps in the morning. I wash my face with the Cetaphil gentle face cleanser which i have to say is for all skin types and is just amazing. It keeps my face hydrated and not oily at all.

Second I pour a bit of the Clinique toner on a cotton swab around my t- zone. At first i was confused then i asked the sales lady at Sephora, why it says lotion and it has a number 3? She then explained it was a toner and the 3 meant that  Clinique has diferent step regimen.

After I let my toner dry I apply my face moisturizer. At the moment i am loving this Clinique moisturizing gel. I have been using it for a month now and I can't get enough, it leaves my skin soft and refreshing. Just what i want.

Want A Glowing skin in the Winter ?

winter face care

First Aid Beauty face moisturizer / First Aid Beauty oatmeal face mask / Clarins / Cetaphil / Nivea lip treatment, $4.70

Cold weather can be extremely damage for our skin, It can get really dry and no one wants that. I have decided to write a blog post on different steps you that  should take for your winter skincare routine. it's is important to  switch up your skincare routine every season. Products that will keep your face from getting dry patch areas and just very dehydrating. Here are some steps to keep your face hydrated, and free of flaky or cracking skin during the winter time. Cetaphil face wash it's just one of the best facial cleaner I have ever used. It's great for all year round and it's good for dry skin. A face toner that will make your face smooth and natural. A good hydrating moisturizer that I recommend is the brand First Aid Beauty it's not oily or sticky and it's great for when your face is itchy, flaky and very dry and overall for everyday. A lip balm that  is very hydrating and have a high percentage of Petroleum or cocoa butter. I use the Nivea it's very good and affordable.  The last product I included is A face scrub, It is important to use a face scrub during the winter as I said before for the flaky skin and it will also smooth your face. It's good to use it at night before going to bed and applying your face moisturizer. It removes all your dead skin cells. It is very important for everyone to take care of their skin especially us girls, we always want to look our best and trust me I have been their with my skin all red burning and dry and it's not comfortable or pretty. That's why is important to take care of our skin early instead of lamenting over it.
