Spring Outfit Inspiration

Spring is back which means it's time to pull out those white jeans from your closet. I have to admit my weekend was full of Fun. Went to a family Hawaiian theme party. Natural Curly hair was out, flower on my hair, Lei Garland on neck and Oh before i forget  my all time favorite White Denims. I just had to wear them. White Jeans are everything seriously they go with any top and you can dress them up or down. 

I said to myself let me give the ladies an outfit inspiration, nothing too hard and nothing over whelming. These white pants are a bit distress which it gives it a casual look. Had to add the nude Mules and the Green army jacket. This Outfit screams Spring. Is fun, cute, girly, effortless and simple. 

What more can you ask for?. I added a bright nail polish, lipstick and only a pair of small earrings. I didn't want the jewelry to opaque the entire outfit. 

Sooo What are you waiting for hop on the White Denims bandwagon.

Welcome Spring To your Home......

Happy Friday !! Although It has been a bit chilly in NY it finally feels like Spring. The sun is shining more than ever and i can hear the music of the ice cream truck. Now, inside my home it doesn't feel like Spring. We put our Christmas decorations almost 3 months ago and it has looked pretty plain.

 I said to myself it cannot only be my apartment or home looking like this maybe together with other gals we can spruce up our apartment and make it feel like Spring. These are my five tips on making your home feel like Spring

Flowers are a great and affordable way to spritz up your home. I think Tulips are great for spring not only they come out in the Spring but also they are beautiful. They are simply beautiful. I suggest buying enough to place around your home. If you don't have mason jars you can purchase them at the dollar store and place one or two tulips on a mason jar and place it on your bathroom sink, another in your dresser and the main one in the dining table. I am sure your home will smell and look lovely.

 I bought these about a week ago and they got prettier each day. This was on their third day. BTW they only cost 10 dollars.

Relaxed Spring Day In NYC

Hello Girlies I hope everyone had a great Memorial Weekend. My weekend consisted of yummy pancakes from Clinton St Bakery and days with a lot of laughter and shopping (making damage).  This week is more relaxed and finally is not raining

 So i decided to go with my friends to the Met Museum and have lunch at Central park. I just love laying a Turkish towel on the grass and sit down chat and  wonder around. Of course with a super relaxed outfit. This is my inspiration, this is how I am feeling right now with a twist of elegance. I hope everyone enjoy the last couple of days of spring before summer hits up.

Spring is Finally Here & College Is Almost Over...

This week has been a bit compromising with school, my internship and trying to keep a social life. This past week I hurt my back that meant to not carry heavy boxes or working out. The doctor said I had to stay home because my body was reacting due to that  I am so exhausted and it is true I haven't had a moment to go and get a hair cut or to go and by my graduation dress which BTW is in two weeks. Due to so much work I couldn't stay home the whole week and relax so these are bits and pieces of what happen this week. Although I had two days to get back to normal and have some me time and meet with my BFF.

I felt like Rapunzel my hair was so long and it was time to cut a couple of inches. I cut my hair in layers just to add a bit of volume.

One of my favorite places to go in Union Square if you live in NYC and you haven't tried Chloe's soft serve you must go. Is all organic and HEALTHY yes I know this deliciousness of dark chocolate with strawberries and dark chocolate chips are all natural and under 120 calories.

Of course i had to stop in the shoe department at Bloomingdales while dress shopping for my graduation. They would be great as a graduation gift.

Put Some Green Into Your Home

 

Hello This week I decided to do a post on Interior design since I have a long time without posting anything of it. In Spring People usually change up some colors in their home. They use pillows to add some pop of color or buy plants and flowers to put around their home. I found these beautiful pictures where it shows homes with green touches I just felt in love with it I am not a fan of green but i love the different shades of green that people use for their home. I think is great to include  different touches of green is like bringing a bit of nature in your home. My favorite is is the 4th to last picture with the prints on the chair.

Fashionable and Beauty Obsessions Of This Month

I have gathered a couple of  fashion and Beauty obsessions that I have been stalking this month. As you can see mostly pastel, nude and bright colors. which are  great for spring. I went last week to Sephora I needed to purchase a couple of beauty products. When I went in the store  It smelled delicious I asked one of the girls that worked in the fragrance department and she said it was this Tom Ford perfume. I have to say that it transported me to the french riviera. It smells great clean and fresh and I WANT IT ! Have a nice weekend beautiful ladies

Casual Fun Shopping Day....

 Hi Ladies I apologize or being lost this week and not posting anything. I have been a but busy with college. You know the typical 20 page paper three weeks before graduation and my thesis. Yesterday After my morning class I decided to venture around Union Square in NYC and go to my favorite places and do the ordinary Saturday fun. I got a couple of stuff which I am really proud that I acquire them. SO here they area.

New  Mac products from the Extra Dimension Collection. Totally In love with the highlighter/ bronzer (shape the future) on the right it's great for contouring your face. I also got a mineralize skin finish powder, The Beautiful Coral blush (blazing haute) and a new lip liner saw it on one of the makeup artist and felt in love with it. It's the perfect pink (Hip N Happy).

As all of you know I have been working very hard the past month on changing my everyday lifestyle into a more normal healthy lifestyle. I bought a pair of sneakers almost a year ago I love them they are great for my workouts. But I thought that after working so hard and seeing the results i would reward myself with a pair of new kicks. I own a pair of lunar glide witch are great for walking but  I have been jogging lately trying to get to run so I thought that these free runs would be just perfect. It has the perfect touch of pink. I also got a pair of headbands i hate my hair all over the place while i am working out it is super annoying.  I think these would be Great plus they were on sale.

The last place i stopped before going home was Whole Foods just to buy a couple of things for the week. I already had gone to my local supermarket so that's why their is not that much.  I don't know if you could spy fresh hydrangeas. I just had to get them not only they are my favorite but they only cost 10 bucks !!!!!  had to have them my mom is in love with them.

It's Time To Takeout The Espadrilles.........

Hello Ladies this week while cleaning my closet for spring I found a couple of old espadrilles that I have gotten throughout the years. I said to myself I think is time to take the Espadrilles out. Not only are they comfortable but also classic, chic, trendy and great for spring and summer. I love both styles. I love the espadrilles with the wedge heel. They look so cute, I think they are great if you want that extra height. But I have to admit that my favorites are the flat espadrilles I take them with me on vacation during the summer, great to rock them with shorts, dresses and jeans.

Easter Is finally here. I remember being a little girl and wearing a new beautiful dress for Easter, my mom would always buy my outfit to go to church in the morning then we would have brunch with other family members. As an adult i still get all happy to rock a new outfit for Easter and have brunch with my mom at our favorite place in the city.  I think this is the best outfit for Easter it has a touch of floral and it's great to pair it up with a pair of coral sandals and a neutral bag it's the perfect chic spring outfit for this Easter. Hey y'all I am back with a couple favorite Spring accessories that are great for this Spring, and guess what they are all under 100 dollars. Which is great for us girls that want to save on some cash. Ann Taylor Loft came out with the most gorgeous pieces for this spring like the flats with the yellow bow and that lovely coral scarf as I wrote in my other post that I had a crush on the color coral I have my eye on this baby going to check it out on the weekend. I also love how Kate Spade every season comes out with the cutest phone cases. I love this bright flowery one it's so cute and preppy. So are you ready to hit the streets this spring with bright colors ? I  sure am

Hey Gals Happy Spring ! ooh I am so happy that spring has finally arrived. Spring has given NYC today a gorgeous sunny day even though is a little chilly it's just gorgeous outside. When I hear the word Spring It screams in my mind CORAL !!  I have always had a color crush on this perfect salmon color for the spring it gives the perfect touch to every outfit and it's just great for this colorful season.  Now that spring is here I can't wait to wear my wedge sandals, colorful dresses, white pants which I love and coral lips oh and cannot forget the  fresh flowers from the market. Ah don't you love Spring ?!

Instapic Highlights Of The Weekend

 

Hey Girls ! I know I have been super lost lately, I have been super sick with a cold yes I know again. On Friday I felt a little better and decided to check out the new Maybelline Whispers lipsticks. Got one and I am loving it. So I might take another trip to the drugstore this week and try some other colors. As you can see I decided today to not blow dry my hair and let it air dry so I am rocking my natural curly hair oh and my tiring eyes due to not sleeping well at night with a bad cough.

Simple Sandals

Hello girly girls. This week I am back with one of my favorite things in the world, SHOES.  It
is  one of my biggest problems in life basically my vice. I was browsing through the Bergdorfs Goodman website over the weekend and I kept seeing sandals only with one strap and not many designs. They were so simple but at the same time very chic and attractive, because you could see the structure of your feet and I think these shoes would elongate your feet and make them look more slim. These babies that I have up here were the one's that caught my attention. As you can see they don't have that much detail only one strap in the front and another one in the back with a slim heel.  I think that these are are the perfect shoes for spring and summer.  You can wear them down or rock them for a dinner party or a girls nigh out.  My hunt for affordable simple sandals has officially started.

Lately In My Life ........

I can't believe that March is already here. It seems like yesterday that I was starting my semester. But I cannot complain this means spring is closer each day and that I am near graduation. I don't tend to write a lot more about me in the blog. Don't know why but lately I have been  feeling like writing  more about what goes down in life. I  have decided to write about what went on  in February. These pictures reflect what I have been doing these weeks.

Floral Pants Are Back ..

I remember last spring when the Floral pants burst out on the streets of New York City. It was crazy ! they were everywhere,  the first time i saw a pair was on the Stella McCartney fashion show. I remember saying to myself those are HOT. Of course I would love to carry a pair of Stella McCartney's but it was way too much money on my opinion to pay on a pair of floral denims. I didn't get a chance to buy a pair of floral pants last spring not because I didn't find them, but because I never found a pair that I felt in love with. Being a curvy girl I don't want a  pair of floral jeans that would make me look bigger so I kind of didn't pay attention to the trend anymore. I said to myself  when they are back in season I'll grab a pair that wont break my bank account. So, the other day while going trough a magazine their it was again, the floral pants were back for spring of 2013. Gosh I got so happy and thought to myself you need a pair.  So I began on  a search for the perfect floral pants for this season. And guess what, I found them and I am so happy because I got them for a  great deal only for 23 bucks at Target, while searching for some deals i decided to go and check out the women's department and see what they had new and their they were, they were screaming GET ME ! I can't wait for this spring to show off my new pair of floral jeans. If you like floral pants I suggest checking them out they are all breath taking.

Add To Your Wardrobe A Pop Of Color

 

While shopping in the city for some school supplies, I went to some stores and I was happy to see a lot of color for this winter and spring of 2013. I saw many yellow tones and navy blue. It's a perfect combination. It had a touch of sailor feeling. I also saw many people wearing colorful bags just to add a statement to their outfit. It was like if I was walking in a world full of neon and bright colors. I took some pictures in the different stores that I enter. The First picture of the Yellow pants are in Forever 21, The Flats are from J crew and the crossbody orange bag was from a young woman that enter an art store I just had to snapped a picture.
