Bedroom Tour....

A couple months ago I wrote about how stress I was due to that I was moving to a new apartment in New York City. I got so happy because my mom and I found an apartment with two great bedrooms. Finally I have a bigger bedroom.  Where i can accommodate more furniture and make it my own space.
My bedroom Inspiration is neutral tones, clean and bright room. I want my bedroom to be a place where i can relax and feel comfortable with what I have. I moved 3 months ago and I still can't find the furniture i want I have visited so many stores, garage sales and Thrift shops that i decided to give it a break and start my search after I come from vacation.

 I decided to share with you what my bedroom looks like so far. Basically walls painted in my favorite neutral color. Behr Dolphin Fin the nicest, softest grey i have ever seen. My favorite piece of furniture so far in my bedroom is the Upholstered headboard that i got online under 300 Bucks !

I decided to add to my bed white linen bedding and a furry pillow. What you think? I am still planning on adding more pillows and maybe a blanket at the end of the bed. I haven't put anything on my walls yet all of that is on hold until i come back from Vacation.

If you are planning for a neutral color for your home i suggest checking this color you can find it at your nearest Home Depot

A Colorful NYC Apartment

Yesterday while roaming around the magazine section of my nearest drugstore i spied on a colorful cover of house beautiful. I couldn't believe it was a colorful apartment in NYC. I said to myself this is every girls dream pad. Full of bright blue tones, disco ball lamps  in a kitchen and a bathroom covered in pink. When can i move in!

 I simply had to buy the magazine and read all the details. The designer of this gorgeous place is Amanda Nisbet " The Color Whisperer" she sure is taking her name really serious. Amanda says that the client's favorite color is blue. She played all the card of the game and gave her the most gorgeous apartment with blue tones. I included some of my favorite photos.... But i suggest going to House Beautiful website to check out the rest of the photos they are breath taking.

Put Some Green Into Your Home

Hello This week I decided to do a post on Interior design since I have a long time without posting anything of it. In Spring People usually change up some colors in their home. They use pillows to add some pop of color or buy plants and flowers to put around their home. I found these beautiful pictures where it shows homes with green touches I just felt in love with it I am not a fan of green but i love the different shades of green that people use for their home. I think is great to include  different touches of green is like bringing a bit of nature in your home. My favorite is is the 4th to last picture with the prints on the chair.

Dining Rooms And It's Fascination

Growing up  my mom was and is  obsessed with our Dining Room. It was the highlight of our home. I actually think that is how my fascination for interior design started. I would go with my mom shopping and we would always end up in the kitchen and dining room department. As an only child my parents wanted me to grow up in a cozy home so My mom made sure that when my dad would come home from work we would all have dinner in the dining room. She just loved and still loves to cook for other people and make everyone feel comfortable and cozy and that was exactly how my dining room felt. We are both a fanatic of home decor I mean we can spend hours just walking around interior design stores. I found these great Inspirational pictures of gorgeous Dining Rooms I decided to share it with you gals. I hope you enjoy them as much as I. I don't have a favorite they are all gorgeous. Wish i can move in to any of these homes. What was your favorite room in your home growing up?

I'm All About The Pink Accents......

-->
 Since I was little girl, I had a fascination for the color PINK.  I was the kind of girl growing up that had the pink bedroom and closet full of pink clothing. I would ask my mom to buy me only pink clothing or anything pink, you name it I had it in pink.  I remember my best friend asking me if I was ever going to use another color and I would answer no.  Now that I am a grownup I am still fascinated of the color pink. Of course in moderation, well I try.  As you know already I love Interior design actually I am considering after I graduate from college in completing a course in Interior design. I love pink accents in homes I think you can always do everything in moderation and décor is one of those things that you can play with.  While I was searching for inspiration for my future apartment I was thinking of adding a touch of pink maybe not on the walls but have different accents such as furniture, headboard, wallpaper, lamps, home accents and maybe kitchen supplies. Of course I want to add other colors but maybe in the living room I can add a neutral color sofa and pink cushions. I would have to see how is the apartment and the size of it. But I am definitely including some pink in my future home or bedroom.

Powder Rooms and It's Elegance

Have I mention before how obsessed I am with powder rooms. I know I say the word obsessed so much on my other post but I truly am obsessed with Crisp, Clean, Traditional and Elegant Powder rooms. I always tell myself when I buy my first home one day the first thing I am going to make sure is that I have a nice laundry room and a gorgeous Powder room. I just love the saying that word it sounds so chic and elegant. You know us ladies always have to go and check on our makeup or hair. I always think of the classic films from the 1950's the ladies would go to the powder room to wash their hands and check on their makeup. I found these gorgeous photos on Decor Pad, and Instantly I though to myself I have to do a post about Powder Rooms.

HeadBoard Crush

 Lately I have been thinking of doing a makeover to my bedroom. I always like to change things a bit i that way i wont get bored of seeing the same things. I have had the bright pink in my teen years, to baby pink and now I have a cream color which I love but I want to transition to WHITE, I have fallen in love with white bedrooms but more with Upholstered headboards . I have been visiting different stores like, Pottery Barn, Crate&Barrel, Ikea, and checking also online to see different models. I have a huge crush on Upholstered headboard I just can't stop looking at them. The headboard it's so Chic and glamorous and at the same time it gives it a touch of comfort. I already have a white head board really nice but I would be happier if I get an upholstered headboard.
