Hi Ladies I hope you gals are staying warm and cozy. These past days it has been freezing in New York City. I have so many layers that sometimes I don't even know where to start when i get home. A couple days ago while i was washing my hands  i notice  that some of my fingers were cracked and dry i literally said o no i need extra hand cream. It's my fault due to that I thought i had lost my gloves and was in denial of buying a pair. Thank God i found them. It's the pair i have in this inspiration you can find them at Target. 

I feel like Winter is all about the Puffer coat that will protect you of anything.  I decided to make this inspiration post well because basically this is all i am wearing everyday. Literally ! Thank God for UGGS !  I usually wear thermal leggings everyday and if i wear jeans or dressy pants i make sure to have my leggings under. This outfit will keep you warm and protected in this very cold winter. 

I almost forgot to mention the Patagonia winter Jacket. It is one of my favorite accessories on this inspiration. I remember my parents gave me this jacket when i was a Junior in High School and still till this day it is one of my favorite pieces i always enjoy using it and it its very cozy and warm. This is a must especially if you are in college running around the Campus trying to get from one place to the other.

Remember ladies to always wear your warm socks and gloves ! you don't want to get extra dry skin.

Hi Ladies ! Merry Christmas ! Christmas was great full of yummy food, red lipsticks and gifts. I didn't get all i wanted but....  I am blessed and thankful with what i got.  New years is almost here and my family is still visiting. It has been cold but also super sunny lately. I have been enjoying going to places with my cousins. 

You gals know i practically live in Boyfriend Jeans.  I really do ! that's why i did this outfit inspiration on what i would wear while hanging out in the city. It is casual, with a touch of glam. Its also comfortable and cozy. The sneakers and long coat are just perfect and adorable. To add a pop of a color i added this beautiful Celine bag.

Happy December !

I am so excited that December has finally arrived. November was not that good with me. I spent most of my days working hard and also with a terrible cold. I still have an ear infection from the cold and still taking antibiotics which i totally hate them. Other than that I am happy December has finally arrived. I truly am.

I am going to be doing a series of Gift Guide inspiration under 100 Bucks for gals like us that want to save and at the same time give gifts that we know are going to be useful. 

I will be doing a series of Fitness, girly girl, guys gift, home gifts for our mom or a friend, girls that love makeup and Beauty and other thing along the way. The first gift guide will be for our friends or family members that are into fitness or are planning on getting fit as part of their new year resolution. This inspiration have tons of affordable clothing and items that your friend who is into wellness and Fitness will love.

These Items are all under 50 Bucks can you believe that. I can't! I have added from a fun water bottle to a cooking book. This gift guide is perfect for the gal who enjoys working out, eating healthy or is simply trying to start a healthy journey.

When i started my healthy Journey over 2 years ago i didn't know what to buy i bought the wrong pants and sneakers for my specific workout. Thankfully a trainer at the gym i go to told me what was the best workout clothing and sneakers for me.

If you don't know what to get her. Buy a makeup pouch and add face cleaning wipes, hand sanitizer, headband, hair ties, and a gift card from her favorite green juice spot. I am sure she will enjoy it. It's basically like a Fitness care pouch.

Favorite Hair Product At The Moment !

Hi Ladies ! I want to talk about my new all time favorite hair product. As most of you may know I have curly hair. Growing up in a Latino household my mom always struggle when she washed my hair. I remember being five years old crying because my mom was going to wash my hair and since i had long curly hair my tangles were eternal. I am not going to lie I would always get a blowout because i just sometimes didn't want to deal with my curly hair.

 As most of you may know i left on vacation the beginning of August, All i could think of was my hair and humidity don't make great sense. The day before leaving I went to my local drugstore on a hunt for the perfect natural hair product. While roaming the hair product aisle THIS Shea Moisture product caught my eye. I decided to give it a try and boy I am IN LOVE with it. 

This curl enhancing treatment has been a life savior. It smells divine, doesn't leave your hair sticky, it makes your hair soft and your curls become bouncier. On the bottom I have added a picture that I took before heading to the airport. I was so happy that my hair looked so well put together. After i arrived my hair didn't blow up like bubble it stayed right where it should be. The month that i spent in Dominican Republic this was my go to product. After coming out of the shower I would dry my hair with a tee shirt then I would apply 1 tablespoon size of the product from roots to end and let it air dry.

Work Outfit

Pardon my absence on the blog. These past weeks i have been busy attending job interviews and also taking extensive workout classes. I guess two of my main goals for this new year are working so far. If you follow me on Instagram  you will know what i am talking about. 

While attending different interviews with news stations. I have noticed that i have fallen in the trap of the typical suit or black and white and grey pants for interviews. I want to be formal but not plain. I have decided to go shopping for interview clothing. I have checked my favorite stores and i came up with this outfit. It's a pair of print pants, a white tailored shirt and a fun blazer. The bright lipstick i added it for when i get the job. I will go with a nude lipstick and not with a bright color. 

I have also added a couple of accessories such as these fun pumps, the beautiful pair of earrings from Kate Spade and the minimalistic neutral bag. this outfit screams my name is cute, well put together, fashionable yet great for your everyday job or interview. I am accepting advice on job interview attire. What would be your statement piece for a job interview?

Outfit Ideas For New Years

Every year for New Years Eve I tend to wear black or Red. This year I decided to do an outfit inspiration on one of my favorite color Nude or Champagne, ivory, creme, blush how ever you want to call it. Here I have two outfit inspirations for New Years. They are both nude have  sequin and i think both are statement outfits for a home or city party.

Outfit One is all about glam. Is a dress with sequin touches in the color nude. This dress fits perfect with a pair of strappy heel sandals and a red clutch. It is sexy but very classy. This dress is all about showing legs and arms. I have added the same clutch for both outfits. The girl on outfit number One is ready to party like Mr. Gatsby. Is ready spent the whole night dancing at a New Years Eve party at a lounge or a roof top. 

Outfit number Two is more of a casual home dinner party. To tell you the truth i am more of outfit number two than one. Most of the time I spent New Years Eve in my home with my family. If my family decide to make a party is in one of my aunts house. which is full of my little cousins and family members. This outfit is a bit more conservative but makes the outfit super fun with the sequin skirt and the spike strappy flats. Which. I. love. I added to the outfit a bib necklace that has gold touches. As i said before i have left the same clutch for both outfit. Red is the perfect  pop of color for such a light colored outfit such as these.

As for the makeup i have decided to keep it super clean. Remember less is more. With all the sequin and the pop of color on the bag you don't want to over do it. It's all about being a true lady and looking elegant. keep it minimal with a simple cat eye liner, a couple of mascara coats and a red lipstick. you will look beautiful. 

I hope you spent a great night and don't forget to look gorgeous even if it's just to stay at your home and have dinner with your family. Remember Is all about welcoming the New Year.

Two Outfits, One Pair of Denims !

Hi Y'all Happy Monday ! I am back with another fun outfit. A couple weeks ago I did a day to night outfit and this time I wanted to do a super easy outfit with one of my favorite clothing pieces. I have said million of times that I love to buy clothing pieces that are versatile and also that I can dress it up or down. Well JEANS are the perfect example of the best clothing piece someone can have in their closet. I don't own many pairs of denims but I do have a couple that I love.  So here i have two outfits and ONE pair of destroyed  light denim pair. I love how Chic meets a bit of toughness. It makes the whole outfit look super effortless.

The first Outfit on the left I have added a jeweled sweater a pair of black oxfords and a color plum bag. I think the color coordinate perfectly and the color plum is just great for this fall. I think this outfit is great if you work at a casual environment or just to meet with your love ones for lunch. It's simple, a bit masculine and girly with the little sparkles on the sweater. 

When I was putting together the second outfit I thought of it as a casual everyday outfit with a sporty touch. I love how these retro sneakers are back. I mean these sneakers are making the perfect come back and they are cute and fun. these go great with many outfits. This outfit that I put together is super easy and plus I think all the pieces are a must for the Fall. I have included the famous plaid shirt and the perfect vest for chilly days.

If you are looking for the perfect everyday pair of jeans. These are great. they have a bit of slouchiness and the distress is just perfect. 

Enjoy !!  and always remember that you don't have to have a draw full of denims to rock the perfect outfit.

J.Crew Celine Esque Bag

Hello Gals long time ago I wrote a post on this Celine bag because I was obsessed with it. Well since I live on a budget due to that I am a recent college graduate trying to move to a new city that means I have to save as much as I can so I couldn't buy the bag . I still brag about the Celine bag but another Celine handbag that I love is the Trapeze bag. It is gorgeous and spacious but is way out of my budget. 

I decided to give up UNTIL I saw this bag at last week at J.Crew while I was just roaming around the store. I literally had to stop and the first thing that I thought was CELINE it looks like one and it almost has the same design it is called the GOODWINN BAG. 

I was afraid to look at the price but they are under 200 dollars. I mean they are not as big as the Celine bag but it fits a lot of things and I can use it as a cross body bag you can dress it down or up. AND I WANT IT ! I think the price is great and it's gorgeous. Which one is your favorite ?

Summer Party Outfit

Hello Gals, this weekend was super fun. I went to my first summer party and let me tell you that I had so much fun the conclusion of it is that my feet still hurt from so much dancing. When my cousin/ Best Friend invited me to the party two weeks ago I got so happy. I had to start thinking what I was going to wear and of my  hair and makeup. I planned an outfit that   was pretty , summery and very classy. I hope you like it I included a ponytail because after my first dance I had my hair in a ponytail it was so hot and my hair doesn't do very well with hot places. the ponytail looked actually pretty nice because I had beachy waves so it still looked great with my outfit. Hello Everybody ! Happy Monday it has been  extremely hot in NYC their is a heat wave going on that will last until Saturday. I Dream Of A Pink Sofa....

Hello Ladies before I get to my point let's make it clear I love pink and Interior Design and when I see a combination of both I go NUTS. Not too long I go I made a blog post of how to Incorporate pink in your home.  This week while I was walking in the city I saw a gorgeous light pink sofa with nail heads I simply felt in love with it. When I got home I started searching online and I found this one. I cannot wait until I have my own place to have a pink sofa I know for many girls they dream of a fancy car or fancy shoes but this is what I call FANCY. I decided to put this together this is how I would like to decorate my living room.It has a traditional and feminine touch. It will be my Carrie Bradshaw apartment. I can't wait. Outfit Inspiration : The Perfect Flowery Summer Dress

Hello Girlie's This week I am back with an Inspiration outfit. This outfit screams out  PORTOFINO Italy !!!!  Imagine sitting near the bay on a beautiful sunny day with this simple yet gorgeous flowery dress and your wavy hair moving with the breeze. I can see myself wearing this outfit. It is beautiful and great for a casual lunch or for simple dinner by the water. Hello Wonderful ladies, I hope everyone had a great week. This week has been fun, exciting and a bit romantic. Yes you heard romantic, starting on Sunday afternoon I met a special person that I have been talking for over a year.  Although that person left to DC to pursue his career we haven't forgotten of each other and have been great friends and maybe soon something else. :) I have also been doing a bit of shopping. I mean Jcrew had a 25% of everything and Sephora had their nail polish have off so I had to get something. I know you also spy the Goyard tote. 

This week I went to Bergdorfs Goodman I wanted to see with my own eyes and try on a couple of different Goyard Totes they are amazeballs I am obsessed with this classy bag.  I also checked the shoes department I couldn't leave the store with out checking all the amazing shoes. I saw this pair of Tods loafers I found them so cute and  they are easy on the walking so I think these are going to be my next purchase. what you guys think?Well that was all for this week, What can I say life is treating me good and i am a okay about it.

Tory Burch Turquoise Color Crush....

Tory Burch has done it again. Her new Spring Summer 2013 collection is off the hook. I cannot even explain in words how much I love all the prints and colors she used in this collection. out of all the colors and prints, turquoise is my favorite it reminds me of the ocean and of spending the summer in the Caribbean. I had to add this Essie nail polish which is the exact color that Tory used in most of her pieces. If you haven't have time to check out the new collection of Tory Burch I highly recommend it it's fabulous as always.

Put Some Green Into Your Home

 

Hello This week I decided to do a post on Interior design since I have a long time without posting anything of it. In Spring People usually change up some colors in their home. They use pillows to add some pop of color or buy plants and flowers to put around their home. I found these beautiful pictures where it shows homes with green touches I just felt in love with it I am not a fan of green but i love the different shades of green that people use for their home. I think is great to include  different touches of green is like bringing a bit of nature in your home. My favorite is is the 4th to last picture with the prints on the chair.

Sunny Weekend Style

 

 I am so happy that this weekend has been sunny and in the fifty degrees. We had a couple inches of snow this past week in NYC but it cleared up by Friday night. I feel like Spring is around the corner well I hope. This set is inspired by the weekend as I said before it has been a bit chilly but not that cold so why not take out your weekend jacket out for a trip. A typical weekend outfit for me on a nice sunny day would be a pair of boyfriend jeans, comfy sneakers like the Supergas and a light army jacket. Although I am a girl that loves to wear big bags, once in a while I prefer a cross body bag like this Coach one isn't it adorable. I think it's easier if your going to the farmers market or even have a casual lunch date with your significant other or even on a shopping spree. It's Comfortable, relaxing and is fashionable outfit but at the same time careless. Enjoy your weekend  !

Simple Sandals

Hello girly girls. This week I am back with one of my favorite things in the world, SHOES.  It
is  one of my biggest problems in life basically my vice. I was browsing through the Bergdorfs Goodman website over the weekend and I kept seeing sandals only with one strap and not many designs. They were so simple but at the same time very chic and attractive, because you could see the structure of your feet and I think these shoes would elongate your feet and make them look more slim. These babies that I have up here were the one's that caught my attention. As you can see they don't have that much detail only one strap in the front and another one in the back with a slim heel.  I think that these are are the perfect shoes for spring and summer.  You can wear them down or rock them for a dinner party or a girls nigh out.  My hunt for affordable simple sandals has officially started.

Polka Dot Affair.....

 I am having an affair with polka dots. I don't know about you but I am loving the polka dots trend.  It is everywhere in Shoes, bags, blouses and even phone cases. This trend makes your outfit more fun and it gives a touch of elegance. I don't know but I feel that the outfit becomes more fun and its something that catches anyone attention. If you are not a person that likes to wear print i think polka dot is versatile and can give a change on your everyday outfit. the thing about it, is that everyone can wear polka dots i feel this is a print that is easy to wear . I think is great if you want to spice up your outfit for work you can wear a nice  button down blouse like the one i have on my inspiration board with a pair of trousers or pencil skirt.  I made and inspiration board for you to can get inspired and create ideas with different fashionable pieces. I made it  based on some pieces that I am currently loving and that currently are part of the this winter and spring 2013 trend. So get in the moment and live the POLKA DOTS trend.

I'm All About The Pink Accents......

 Since I was little girl, I had a fascination for the color PINK.  I was the kind of girl growing up that had the pink bedroom and closet full of pink clothing. I would ask my mom to buy me only pink clothing or anything pink, you name it I had it in pink.  I remember my best friend asking me if I was ever going to use another color and I would answer no.  Now that I am a grownup I am still fascinated of the color pink. Of course in moderation, well I try.  As you know already I love Interior design actually I am considering after I graduate from college in completing a course in Interior design. I love pink accents in homes I think you can always do everything in moderation and décor is one of those things that you can play with.  While I was searching for inspiration for my future apartment I was thinking of adding a touch of pink maybe not on the walls but have different accents such as furniture, headboard, wallpaper, lamps, home accents and maybe kitchen supplies. Of course I want to add other colors but maybe in the living room I can add a neutral color sofa and pink cushions. I would have to see how is the apartment and the size of it. But I am definitely including some pink in my future home or bedroom.
