Fathers Day !

Are you ready? have you bought your husband or Dad his gift already? Totally forgot about it, is okay. Take a deep breath and quickly check what i have here for you. Simple but amazing gifts you can give to that great PAPA of yours or hubby. 

Most dads don't know what they want on fathers day. Sometimes you have to take long guesses and ask tons of questions. example my mom and i would ask my dad what do you want for fathers day Andrew? he would always say anything or nothing. We would roll our eyes and say common just mention something you like or want. My father worked super hard to give my mom and i always the best. He never asked for anything and was always grateful of what he would get. 

We know he loved plaid shirts, watches and fedoras. He also loved my mothers favorite stew.  My mom and I got him one year a great pair of slippers not any but Uggs a bit pricy but we know he really kept looking at them when he would take us shopping.  my mom would make his favorite stew, get him comfy all day and watch his favorite sport and spent time with us. He would always have a smile on his face. 

Unfortunately he is not with us anymore. But.... There is no remorse waht so ever that we always tried to always not only on fathers day for him to be happy. Dads are suppose to be there for their family no matter what. Hard working souls that help raise a family and try their best to be a great head of the family. My DAD was all of that and much more. 

On this Fathers day try to make his day it doesn't have to be with expensive gift. It can be a beer garden reservation, or a picnic with family or even much better a BBQ.  I added these gifts to give you an idea what you can give him. If he is in to technology you can give him the new apple watch or a great pair of sneaker for his relaxing weekends. If he likes beer you can give him a beer kit super inexpensive and he can make craft beer with his own hand. You get the idea. I hope all you spent a great day.

Hello November !

 November has finally arrived. I feel like October was the longest month ever ! November is going to be super fun and busy full of Family and tons of work. That means more relaxing outfits. Over the weekend I got inspired to make this comfortable outfit. Fall is great to rock your trench coat. It is divine and basically you can dress it up or down.   As most of you know i am all about Comfort and Classy. 

This outfit is perfect for Brunch, a weekend walking around in the city or a movie night. It is also great to take with you while traveling. I added neutral tones and as you can see very comfortable shoes. These are the most comfortable shoes to walk around or if you have to stand for long period of time these are the famous TOD'S Loafers.  You can rock this outfit day and night. I hope it inspires you and it gives you a sense of how to use a trench coat on a regular basis during the Fall.

I AM BACK !!!!! Yes i know it's been a while from the last time i post something on my blog. But as you may know i was on vacation to the Caribbean where i spent over a month stress free. Relaxing and living the life literally would not do anything in the day. Just relax. But I am glad to be back to my city and happy that Fall is almost here. Which that means that I have to start pulling out all of my favorite pieces for the fall. 

This Fall i am being more risky with my makeup and outfits. On this post i have added things which at the moment i am crushing from my favorite drink of the fall the famous PSL
 ( Pumpkin Spice Latte) from Starbucks,  The new collection of Altuzarra for Target and the Givenchy Leather Tote which is screaming BUY ME. 

Another piece that I am crushing is the burgundy Motorcycle jacket it is a statement piece it looks great with every outfit plus it is very Chic and it makes me feel COOL ! the other pieces are great accessories that every girl must have for the fall. Before i forget don't forget to have your room smelling all Autumn. Every year  I buy a couple of my favorite candles for the fall at Bath and Body works they make me feel warm inside plus they smell amazing.

Finally the baby is here and it is a BOY ! I have been anxiously waiting for for this news since they got married. I have an obsession with the Royal family it all started with my mom who was a big fan of Princess Diana. Now is time for Prince William to be a father which I know he is going to be good at it. Hopefully we can see photos of the baby soon.  I got the Baby blues so i decided to do a little inspiration.

Key Pieces That Every Woman Should Have In Her Closet

If You are the kind of shopper that I am that instantly enters a store and sees something that you think you need and ends up buying it and never wearing it. That is basically me.  That is why I have a shopping problem. Probably too many other young woman out there also suffer from the same problem as I. I understand perfectly that Is why I came up with a list on my fashion journal, key pieces that every woman should have in her closet. Us Woman tend to buy so many crap, we do. It is the truth is time to put on our big girl panties and accept that sometimes we over buy. We see something and we attack like a predator. because we think we need it and if not we will plan an event just so we can wear what we bought. being a senior in college means that after I graduate I will NEED A JOB. I have included in my "must have in the closet" list,  a couple of items that would be great for me and you, not only for a job interview but also for a casual day, dinner party, relaxing weekend or even if your traveling. This list is perfect for the college student, mother, wife, sister or neighbor It will help all of us not over buy or pack when we are traveling. So here i go.

The little black dress also know as (LBD), I think every woman doesn't matter what age or size should have an appropriate black dress. It's great for interviews, for a night out or simply if you don't know what to wear one day, just  rock the LBD. The LBD has saved me from so many fashion catastrophes. I always have it clean and pressed for those moments when I need a little help. And the good thing about it is it makes you look thinner,  which that's a plus and is also a neutral color. 

The Classy Trench Coat- My mom always tells me that a Trench coat makes you look more elegant and well put together It also wraps your waist which creates a waistline and makes you look more feminine. The trench coat is perfect for the rainy days but also for fall, spring I actually use mine all year around I just add more layers. It is great for your everyday life.  

Your Everyday Blazer- Lets just say that I live in a blazer. I do ! My blazer is my best friend.  It is great if you want to look professional, and also great for day and night. you can wear it with anything. from dresses, skirts, jeans, trousers, leggings, you name it. I think this is the one thing a woman should invest in getting a good blazer that will last long and you know that where ever you go you can take it with you.

The Perfect pair of jeans- Now, I included a pair of denims, they are not a light or dark wash but medium. I always have a pair of Medium denims, why? because again it goes with anything also I buy them regular length and skinny or straight. That way I know that If I am planning a weekend getaway or just go grocery shopping  or even to the movies I have many options. I am not only stuck with one idea. I can style it many different ways.

Nude pumps- Elongate your legs, go with every outfit, great for day and night, also very classy shoes. Enough said couldn't summarize it better. 

Casual Comfy Flats- Great for everyday routine, good for work, school or tired feet. I always carry a pair in my handbag you know just in case.

Perfect day to night bag- This bag is perfect because you can use it different ways, you can carry it as a messenger bag but also as a normal hand bag is good for everyday and is a bag that you can transition from day  to night because it's a medium size bag. 

Emergency, Yet classy Blouse- Yes I call it the emergency blouse not because i am going to the hospital. but because It is white,  again a neutral color, it goes with everything and when I need it she is always their to rescue me. 

I think if we all have these items in our closet we would always be happy with what we have and not feel the urge to buy a new item every time we have an event. Each piece is versatile and can be worn different way's, you just have to play with it and see what looks better on you. Although I have included mostly  high end products you can take this as a guide to what you want to find. Their are many affordable nude pumps, trench coats and little black dresses under 100 dollars.

Conquer the Streets with Capes

Are you feeling with some type of super power. Well I am, I want to conquer NYC with one of these capes. I am loving them they are great for the cold winter days and for the not so cold days. They are so Fashionable and Chic. They give your outfit that extra touch of Glamour and they are great because they  basically go with any type of clothing piece. These are some examples of Capes that I love. They are warm, comfortable and so cute. what you girls think would you buy a cape for the winter because I will.

Living in the Plaid World....

This morning while I was on my way to school I saw many people wearing plaid clothing pieces. Every place I would go  from the local bus to getting coffee at Starbucks. I think that plaid is one of the best trendy pieces of fall and now Winter.
