Easy, Comfortable Summer Outfit

While laying in bed recuperating from a pretty bad stomach virus over the weekend the only thing that came to my head was July. Which is almost here. 

Now i know Summer has arrived already but this stomach virus had me 4 days in bed except the day i had to rush to the emergency room because i could not tolerate my abdominal pain. Lasted a couple hours in the emergency room was diagnosed with a stomach virus no new news of course.

 I was very dehydrated. The nurse got an IV in my veins for medicine and a couple hours later i was back to my bed still dehydrated and feeling like crap. 

Two days has passed by and I am feeling much better. Finally had solid food and did not puke. I am feeling more like myself and more energized. 

Thinking of July, Inspired me on making this outfit inspiration. Summer can get pretty humid especially in this City. That is why i always opt for shorts and a cotton tee. I really like buying as much tee's as i can. They are super cheap you can find them at Target or H&M. 

I also added a pair of gladiator sandals because they are so in. I really wanted these by the brand Schutz . But they are out of my price range. I found these and my they are adorable under 50 bucks and by the brand of TopShop. Major score !

I wanted to pair this outfit with a not too big side bag. I found this one by Rebecca Minkoff and the color is just on point. 

The other accessories are the gorgeous pair of Prada Sunnies, and the new exclusive lipstick color that Estee Lauder Launched exclusive by Kendall Jenner. Is the perfect Matte Red lipstick is not too dark or bright. Is just perfect. 

With this look i suggest a high pony tail or natural waves and this Bumble and Bumble Infusion is just great. I bought it a couple months ago and it's lovely. 

And last you cannot leave your house without putting on your favorite fragrance. My friend got the beach by Bobbi Brown about a month ago and i seriously wanted to take it from her. Is a Must !

Parisian outfit inspo

Hi Ya'll i hope everyone had a great weekend. Here in NYC we have high degrees and  also tons of unexpected showers. My allergies have been attacking me and i am also in the mist of moving. Which if you have moved before you know how stressful it is. That is why i decided to make this outfit inspiration. I am dreaming of Paris. I imagine wearing this outfit and walking down the most famous streets and little shops of Paris France. I mean why not dream. 

This outfit is casual, airy, feminine, clean and fun. The color of the dress id just perfect. It the perfect sky blue. I added a touch of pink with the fun scarf that screams Spring. Do you ever dream of being in your favorite place on earth when you are stressed.  Leave a comment on tbe bottom of the place where you wished to be and why? I hope you have a great week.

In A Very Plaid World !

I have always dreamed of being that typical classy lady from the upper east side. I guess with my obsession of Gossip Girl. I loved Blair and I loved her outfits. Every time I walk around the upper east side it reminds me of the show and of course of how charming the neighborhood is. In honor of that charming neighborhood and Gossip Girl I have this outfit in my mind. I think this outfit is beautiful and classy. 

 I mean for Gods sake the name of my Blog is Diary of a classy lady. I guess I am a bit obsessed with lady like classy outfits and lifestyles. This outfit is for the typical lady that loves to wear a fashionable outfit and also that loves plaid. This Ralph Lauren dress is perfect for this season. It is the perfect length and color. The makeup can be pretty easy just slap on a dark matte lipstick and you will look FABULOUS !

I wish i could have  it hanging on my closet but since i know that won't happen ill just leave it as a dream. So this is my "I wish i could wear that" outfit post. Happy Friday !! My question for you ladies is what is the synonym of classy to you?

3 Steps For A Bright Beautiful Face

        blush /  concealer / mascara


If I could ask for three wishes the first wish I would ask for would be to have a perfect skin. An Immaculate firm and illuminated face. And that in the morning they would tell me you have an impeccable face. But that always doesn't happen. Of course it depends on what you eat, how you hydrate your skin, if you use sunscreen and if you take off your makeup before going to sleep. Which I know sometimes were tired and we want to just lay in our comfy bed but is a MUST.  On those days where I have spent all night studying for an exam and I feel like I need a fresh face the next morning I just go through my three steps. It consist of  Concealer, Mascara and Blush. I cannot leave my home without these three products. these products made me have a nice morning face.


Mascara-  currently I am using the Maybelline Rocket Volume. If you notice when you apply mascara on your lashes that once you have applied one coat your eyes look bigger due to that the lashes are perky and curled. (of course if you use a lash curler which I recommend using one) This is a must I apply mascara about 2 to 3 times a day it makes me feel awake. 

Concealer- I basically cannot live without it, due to not sleeping well and having to wake up early in the morning I have dark circles under my eyes. I just slap on some concealer and WALA ! magically my dark circles disappear. Thank God who ever invented concealer. 

Blush- the last product I use is BLUSH, I believe that if you don't have natural rosy cheeks, just with a touch of Blush your face will look for awake and give you that natural look you just need a bit not that much.

Those were my 3 steps for a bright beautiful face.

Valentine's day is nearly around the corner, Since I don't have a boyfriend right now nor dating anyone I decided to do a Valentines day gift Inspiration on the girls in my life like my mom, best friends, cousins or even a co worker. I love the small touches like the usual card or even a cupcake I would be happy if I got my favorite Red Velvet cupcake from Crumbs Bakery. For Valentines day since it is on a Thursday I have decided to celebrate it with my best friend she is single as well so were going to go to the movies and why not a drink or two. A Small Beauty Haul !

 

  The other night I was bored and had nothing to do, I went on the Bloomingdales website and this is what happen. I ended purchasing a Bobbi Brown blush in Pretty Pink 41 and a MAC lipstick named Hue. I love my two new makeup items. I am a total addict of nude lipsticks so here is a new baby for my collection and I mean look at the color of that blush, I love it. It just gives great color to your cheeks. They are great for my everyday makeup.

BB Cream Fascination

I know probably all of you have heard of the famous BB Cream but I am the kind of person that loves makeup but doesn't like a cakey face and that is why ninety percent of the time I  don't wear foundation. I just use it for special occasion or if I really need it.  I normally apply almost everyday concealer and powder that's what on my face normally. But as I am always in the search of new products and after hearing people talk so much about the famous BB Cream. I decided to go on a hunt to try the BB cream of course that I did my research and these were the most BB Creams that had the best review. I went to the Bloomingdale's Bobbi Brown makeup counter I told the costumer representative that  I was looking for the famous BB Cream she smiled and said, "come let me apply it to your face". and while she was applying she was telling me that it has SPF 30 and that is basically like a tinted moisturizer but with more coverage and not heavy at all. After she applied it to my face I loved it, my face felt so silky and soft and it was not heavy at all I told her I AM SOLD.  I have used it a couple of times now and I love it definitely a good investment. Here are other brands off BB creams from 7 dollars to 40 depending on your budget give it a try I am sure you will love it.
