I AM BACK !!!!! Yes i know it's been a while from the last time i post something on my blog. But as you may know i was on vacation to the Caribbean where i spent over a month stress free. Relaxing and living the life literally would not do anything in the day. Just relax. But I am glad to be back to my city and happy that Fall is almost here. Which that means that I have to start pulling out all of my favorite pieces for the fall. 

This Fall i am being more risky with my makeup and outfits. On this post i have added things which at the moment i am crushing from my favorite drink of the fall the famous PSL
 ( Pumpkin Spice Latte) from Starbucks,  The new collection of Altuzarra for Target and the Givenchy Leather Tote which is screaming BUY ME. 

Another piece that I am crushing is the burgundy Motorcycle jacket it is a statement piece it looks great with every outfit plus it is very Chic and it makes me feel COOL ! the other pieces are great accessories that every girl must have for the fall. Before i forget don't forget to have your room smelling all Autumn. Every year  I buy a couple of my favorite candles for the fall at Bath and Body works they make me feel warm inside plus they smell amazing.

Summer Night Out In Town Outfit

 While scrolling my way down Net-A- Porter website over the weekend i found the most beautiful metallic Esq shimmery mid length pleated skirt. My breath literally stopped and quickly i had to click on it. Unfortunately the price woke me up from having it in my closet. But isn't it the most Beautiful piece of clothing i have seen in a long time.

I have been MIA for the past week in a half I apologize for that. Every time summer comes I get terrible migraines which leave me in bed for days feeling dizzy and not being able to do anything. I have also been getting things ready for my trip to the Dominican Republic which i will be leaving the next month, and i am so excited. 

leaving that to the side a couple days ago i was online looking for a pair of sneakers for my trip. I ended up looking at these cuties They are Nike Air Max.

I remember being in 8th grade and shopping with my mom for the summer when i felt in love with the same pair of sneakers just in the color Red and White. I use to be the cool kid on my block every time i use to put on the sneakers. Now that i see these all of sudden i got the urge to get them.

As many of you may know I only have ONE pair of sneakers and they are only to workout. Other than that I wear flats and heels. I decided to pair a cool outfit for the summer with these sneakers. I think they are so cool. It's perfect for a relax day around the city wearing a cool bag and outfit. I made it super simple but Chic. What you think? would you wear this? Summer Favorites

It has been a long time  that i made a haul. I have been trying to use my money wisely and buy things for my new bedroom. This is a collective haul of May and June. Most of the items are from J Crew of course.... And others are simple beauty necessities. That is why i have named this post Summer Favorites because they really are my favorites.

Fathers Day Gift Guide

On Fathers Day i always have mix emotions. Six years ago I lost my dad. It has been a long grieving process. Sometimes i just think he is on a business trip or on vacation. My dad was sweet, strict, caring and very supportive of my decisions. 

On Fathers Day my Dad would spent the weekend with my mom and I. No friends or other family members. My mom would plan the activities and would prepare his favorite Dominican dish which it was  a Sancocho con Arroz which is basically a stew with different kind of meats and vegetables with a side dish of white rice and Avocado. Sooo Yummy I can remember him sitting down and just closing his eyes after the first bite. We would also get him a small present. 

My father was not the biggest shopper and he never asked for nothing special we would just get him something he would usually wear or would be in need of and he would be just fine. He would always say that his best gift on Fathers day was having my mom and I in his life. 

This fathers day my mom would be preparing his favorite dish and also going to the cemetery leaving some flowers. Where ever you are daddy I miss you and love you dearly very much. TE AMO!   

These are some gifts that my father would appreciate and would love dearly. I hope all dads have a Beautiful Fathers Day !

Dreaming Of Portofino Italy

Now that I am finally settled in my new apartment. I feel like is time to go on a vacation. Vacation i missed that word so much. Maybe not the word but the meaning of it. Vacation means to me disconnected of the world no Internet, phone, or emails. Sipping on a mimosa, relaxing, eating great food, and discovering new places. Currently I dream of Portofino Italy. 

Just in case you didn't know where Portofino is located it is a village located on the Italian riviera it has FOUR beaches. I have been dreaming of visiting Italy since i was in college and after reading the book Eat Pray Love which if you haven't read it i suggest you do. It has been a while without posting something on the blog due to the over whelm of my new apartment. 

Gosh it is so stressful to unpack and decor a new place so many decisions to make. But now i am settled and ready to relax. Well at least. I wish. I still have a couple of months before i go on vacation but mean while i will keep dreaming of Italy and it's amazing food and culture. To all the ladies that are traveling this summer this inspiration post is for you. It includes all of my favorite and must haves for your trip.

Parisian outfit inspo

Hi Ya'll i hope everyone had a great weekend. Here in NYC we have high degrees and  also tons of unexpected showers. My allergies have been attacking me and i am also in the mist of moving. Which if you have moved before you know how stressful it is. That is why i decided to make this outfit inspiration. I am dreaming of Paris. I imagine wearing this outfit and walking down the most famous streets and little shops of Paris France. I mean why not dream. 

This outfit is casual, airy, feminine, clean and fun. The color of the dress id just perfect. It the perfect sky blue. I added a touch of pink with the fun scarf that screams Spring. Mothers Day Gifts Ideas

May is Finally here that means that Mothers day is right around the corner. In my home we celebrate Mothers Day twice. The American and Dominican Mothers day. American is at the beginning of May and Dominican is the Last Sunday of the month. I usually divide the gifts that i give my mom. Either one day i just take her out for brunch and the other i give her flowers and a nice present.

 Here i have different ideas of different gifts you can give your mom or grandmother on Mothers Day. I have a variety of options which you can choose. These are my top 9 gifts. Remember to never forget the card. I usually write a hand letter to my mom which she values a lot due that today most people send emails and texts and forget about hand writing a letter.  I am still old school. Plus my mom knows the hard work and dedication i put to the letter i even decorate it using color pencils just like the old days when i was in elementary school.

 I hope these gifts can give you a clue of what you want to give to your loved one. Never forget to say I LOVE YOU to your mom even if you live far from her call her and let her know. Remember everyday is mothers day. They sacrifice their lives to help us become the great person we are today. Their is no gift that i can give my mom other than loving, respecting and cherishing her. She is my true best friend.

Nude Booties For Spring

Sorry for being MIA these past weeks on the blog. I am in the mist of moving and boy is it stressful. From deciding what i want to keep to donate or throw away. I packed most of my cothing  up in boxes and my shoes are all sealed up in a shoe box. While looking at all of my shoes i notice that i am missing a pair of nude booties. I have brown and black booties but not nude. Nude booties are perfect for Spring and Summer. I took a break from packing up and decided to check one of my favorite stores in the whole world Shopbop Shoes department. I found these beauties aren't they breath taking. Most are peep toe  which is great because you can rock your pedi. I really have to own a pair of nude booties if not now but by the time i am all movedin in the new apartment. My favorite out of these  is the second in the middle on first row. Its by loeffler Randall i love their designs of booties amd my other favorite is the first of the bottom row by steve madden. You can also find a similar one in Target for less money. Soooo which one is your favorite?

Sky Blue Is In For Spring !

Their is always one color in Spring that stands out. Each Spring a color is making people go crazy for it. This sky blue color is screaming SPRING and is making drool. Literally. Every store i go in i have to see something of this color.  This color is perfect for Spring and Summer  it is light the color is beautiful and it goes with many pieces. Even nail polish companies are coming out with this color. 

I decided to make an inspiration board on all of my favorite pieces that are in this color. From makeup to my favorite flowers in the entire world hydrangeas. If you want to be part of this trend go on and try one of these pieces. My favorite  out of all these pieces is the Marc Jacobs Watch, the Phillip Lim Pashli bag and also the  beautiful pleated skirt. So would you dare use this color this Spring? Leave a comment.

Spring Finally Arrived !

Spring Is here ! Today is the first day of Spring. I am so excited, although i do enjoy the Winter and its nice snowy days full of Hot coco and warm fuzzy socks i am so over it. I want my mani and pedi weekends with my friends and i am so ready to let my toes breath some fresh air. I love my Bean boots but their comes a point where you want to stop wearing them. So hasta luego my dear Winter.

I predict that this Spring is going to be full of different tones of the color blue. Have you notice all the sunglasses with the blue shades they are so in. In honor of first day of Spring i decided to make an inspirational outfit. I know i had a long time of not sharing one with you. This outfit is perfect for the girl that enjoys Spring, loves to dress classic traditional but spices up the outfit with a mega cool bag such as this mini phillip lim or the JCrew grey tone  heel sandals. These are perfect for the girl that cant wait to show her toes this Spring and of course she is a mega fashionista yet has her own style.

I really love this outfit i think this light blue is beautiful and a great introduction to Spring all pieces compliment each other none of them over power any item. Lets talk about the Tory Burch Sunnies they are so hot, love the two colors. These are a must !

Lets see how New York City takes Spring this 2014. Although today is the first day. I want to see fresh flowers blooming at my moms balcony and the smell of fresh produce at the Union Square market every saturday morning. Soon i will be posting my Spring musthaves. Stay Tune

Navy Blue Skirt Outfit

I don't know if i have told you that my favorite colors are pink, navy blue and grey.  I am obsessed with these colors and I think they make a great combination. Plus I believe that blue is an universal color. While roaming around J Crew I found cute pieces and a pair of pumps that would be great for the spring or even now in the winter.

I just had to do an inspiration outfit. I love the skirt is so lady like and with the sweatshirt and pink necklace it will make the skirt a bold statement and it give it a touch of fun. I added a messenger bag which can also be use as handheld. I wanted to concentrate on the the shoes and outfit, because those are the key pieces.

On the makeup i went subtle rosy lips and cheeks with nude nails. very classy and lady like as i said before. This outfit is great for work, dinner, and even church. I love skirts i usually don't wear them that much in the winter but when summer and spring comes around i tend to use skirts a couple times a week. I think this would be great with or without tights.

Wednesdays Wish list !

Hi Y'all ! Lately i have been crushing on a couple of things. I literally have them bookmarked on my Ipad. I don't know about you gals but every time i want something i bookmark it or add it to the cart. It kinds of reminds me that i have something waiting to order. 

I collected all the items and add them on my blog today as my Wednesday Wish List or cravings you can say. I have tons of accessories from shoes to nail polish and that fun New York tee, that is screaming GET ME. What about those chic round sunnies of course in the subtle leopard print. Can't get any better.

The one thing that is number UNO on my list are those Sam Edelman leopard slip on sneakers. I just need to have them on my feet. They go with everything plus they are HOT ! As you can see I have also been crushing over rose gold nail polish and eye shadow. I think is a must for this winter and spring.

Valentines Day Gift Guide

Can't believe Valentines day is around the corner.  Just a couple weeks ago we celebrated New Years. Any ways this year i wanted to make a fun gift guide for your friend, girlfriend if your a boy or girl and reading this post, any family member or yourself. Yes I do purchase gift to myself.... Sometimes.

This is the time of the year that couples, friends and your love ones decide to celebrate LOVE. What a better way than gifting them a little something on that special day. It doesn't have to be something expensive or over the top it can be a simple card or mug. 

I added lingerie. I said to myself your a big girl go ahead add it to your list you can do it. The truth is that it doesn't matter if your single or in a relationship i believe every girl should own a pair of cute lingerie. I love anything lace.

I hope you get inspired with these gifts an give that special someone something that would be meaningful to them and to you.

Shopping The Medicine To Bad Days !

Hi Friends ! Last Thursday I had a rough day. I actually had a rough week with the snow and working till late. But on  I had a meeting that didn't end up well. It didn't end up with what i wanted. I left the place sad and literally about to cry. I walked a couple of blocks until i found myself in Century21 and then in ZARA. What dragged me into the stores were the sale ads they had everywhere literally. 

I first went to Century21 and i started to look around i didn't find anything i liked until i stepped in the shoe department and saw a couple that caught my attention.  I have been looking a long time for a pair of nude pumps. I mean i really like a pair of Christian Louboutin but that is not a choice at this moment. I found for half the price very cute and comfortable mid heel nude pumps. Bought them for 20 bucks instead of 100 now don't tell me that's not a deal i had to take it. Then I walked a bit more and saw a couple of booties. I saw one that caught my eye,  tried them on and boom I had to have them plus they were 1/3 of the price that were on sale. I basically felt like it was my day i scored two pair of shoes under 60 bucks !

Pardon my absence on the blog. These past weeks i have been busy attending job interviews and also taking extensive workout classes. I guess two of my main goals for this new year are working so far. If you follow me on Instagram  you will know what i am talking about. 

While attending different interviews with news stations. I have noticed that i have fallen in the trap of the typical suit or black and white and grey pants for interviews. I want to be formal but not plain. I have decided to go shopping for interview clothing. I have checked my favorite stores and i came up with this outfit. It's a pair of print pants, a white tailored shirt and a fun blazer. The bright lipstick i added it for when i get the job. I will go with a nude lipstick and not with a bright color. 

I have also added a couple of accessories such as these fun pumps, the beautiful pair of earrings from Kate Spade and the minimalistic neutral bag. this outfit screams my name is cute, well put together, fashionable yet great for your everyday job or interview. I am accepting advice on job interview attire. What would be your statement piece for a job interview?

The Cross Body Trend

I apologize for being absent these days. I have been sick, stuck in bed with a sinus infection and a cold. But lets leave that story for another day. Today i decided to write about one of my favorites. 

Everyone loves them, They come in different sizes and great if you want your hands or arms free. Have you guessed already? I am talking about the famous cross body bags. I am a big fan of satchels or cross body bag how ever you want to call them.

I use them especially if i know i will need my hands. Like if i am going shopping or simply don't want to feel like i am carrying too much. I am a bag lady. I love big bags don't get me wrong but now brands such as Fendi, Phillip Lim, Louis Vuitton and Celine  have made mini versions of their most famous bags. I mean they are to die for.

 I have added a couple on my blog with different inspiration outfits. But... I think it was time for me to dedicate a whole post on it. Most of us girls are always on the run. We are students, busy workers trying to juggle the real world, girlfriends, wives and even mothers. Sometimes we want to be fashionable yet not be pressured by carrying a heavy bag just because it goes with your outfit. You know what i mean.....

 That Is why i think cross body bags are perfect for the weekend, vacation or simply for the everyday running errands kind of life. I have a couple that are my favorite. I mean they are too die for.

2014 is Here ! I hope everyone had an amazing New Year celebration. I hope you all reach your new goals. One if mine is to own a pair of leather pants. Yep I said it right. God they are so sexy ! I simply cannot find a pair where i can say that it's it i don't have to search for a new pair leather pants. 

I just love the look of leather jeans and simple sneakers like that Nike that i have. You might say WHAT sneakers as part of a outfit that has leather pants. well that's the fun of fashion that you can play around with items that you will never imagine. 

This outfit is mainly all black with touch of grey and plaid. It's perfect for the winter of 2014. This outfit is perfect for the gal that is always wants to be comfortable with her clothing but also daring by wearing leather pants.

My Christmas Outfit !

Hi Friends I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that you got what you desired. On Christmas eve as I said before that i was attending my cousins Christmas Dinner party. It was so much fun. Literally I danced so much that on my way back home I was walking in pain. Literally my feet were killing me you know how we girls are with heels.

And to tell you the truth i was very full i had two servings full of Dominican Food. I decided to wear a dress and not pants this year. This dress my mom got me two months ago in Bloomingdale's. She knows i was looking for dress that had leather touches. the arms were covered in leather and around the neck also. Sorry for the bad picture my little cousin who is 3 years old wanted to take a picture of me and this is the best shot he got. I was also wearing a pair of black pumps by Calvin Klein and a forever 21 necklace. I have been loving the red lipstick look lately i guess is because of the holiday spirit. My family said they liked it.....
