DIY Face and Hair Mask

Hello Ladies ! I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine's day weather it was staying at home and watching the new season of House of Cards on Netflix or going out with your love one's like i did. I went out with my best friend. We went to the movies and had the best cheat meal of the week. Burger, fries and a Haagen Dazs Dazzler.

This Saturday i decided to stay home and pamper myself. I do my weekly face and hair mask. I wanted to share with you this recipe that has been in my family for years and that all the girls in my family apply it. My mom passed it down on me and her mom passed it down to her and her sisters. It is very easy and it has plenty of nutrients. It's the Honey and Coconut oil mask. Yep only two products, it's that easy.

This is all you need. A bowl, a Tablespoon measure, organic coconut oil and Pure Honey. 100% natural.

Mix together in a bowl 1 Tbsp of Coconut oil and Honey, Mix together and heat it up in the microwave for 30 seconds. let it cool or a couple of seconds and apply it directly to your face and hair. Make sure your face is washed. Massage it directly all over your face, lips and your neck. For your hair make sure is detangled and with your fingers massage the mask to the scalp and hair. Pin it up with a clip and leave the mask for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse it all in the shower and use your regular shampoo and conditioner.

You will see the difference immediately. I mean it cleans your face leaving you with no blackheads and a  face and hair soft as a baby. This mask is great. During the winter i tend to get dry scalp. This mask is a remedy. Remember coconut oil and organic honey has many natural nutrients. Make sure you buy organic coconut oil. This means is coming from the fruit of coconut.

Let me know how it worked for you.

Enjoy your weekend !

XOXO Andrea
